... Did James Phelps just ask a real question? I mean, he challenged Lee Holdsworth to back up his claim that PRA have a serious advantage after Holdsworth danced around the issue with generalisations.

According to Inside Supercars, Pepsi will downgrade to just one car for next year.

I'm as surprised as you. It was easily the most intelligent thing that's come out of his mouth.

And he actually beat out Speedcafe about the Penske news.

Maybe he's been reading all the feedback about how 🤬 he is.

Let's not get too carried away - it was like shooting fish in a barrel. Holdsworth was floundering, insisting that there was an advantage to be had whilst avoiding the specifics. And Phelps had the chance to nail him on the follow-up, since Holdsworth's explanation that PRA have an advantage in mid-corner speed doesn't stack up on its own, since they have always been strong there, and it can be replicated through set-up. If there's an advantage to be had, it's the resilience of the car; the drivers can punish it without fear of the car becoming unstable. Still, it's a start.

What news was that? I missed it.

According to Phelps, last night, Penske officially announced they will be using Ford cars next year With or without factory support. To add, PRA will run the FGX through to 2017. Possibly the Mustang in 2018.

I'd like to see double stints on tyres at say Phillip Island and Bathurst. Surfers and Sandown could have to be high degradation tyres. The races just need to be 200km minimum from now on.

Judging by the phont of the #23, looks like the retro number on the GT3 GT-R

Isn't the colour supposed to maroon in honour of QLD's state of origin win? Looks more pink than anything else, maybe it's just that picture though?

The reds in the crowd do look red though. looks pink in few other pics.

It's one of the unusual properties of light - red simply doesn't photograph well. If you ever see a Ferrari F1 car in the flesh, it's surprisingly dark because Ferrari want the colour to appear as it "should" on television.

So, Chaz has a Honda Civic hatchback ay? Will Davison has Aryton Senna helmets, Cheeseburger has a '66 F100 truck and The Future loves his PS4. 👍

PRA's success apparently comes down to a $3,000 shock. That you can get straight off the shelf. Huh. And DJR Penske has only started using it as of the past 2-3 rounds, which would explain the pace of Pye's FG X all of a sudden.

Elephant.

A Mostert doll? Really? And a Mostert 'Mozzie' hat and hoodie? Wow. Ok.

More drivers need to promote like this. Marketing does spread the word about these athletes. GRM have their jandal and vikings(I have a GRM shirt with Viking Mafia on it). Frosty is in Cars 2. Helps promote the sport and sponsorship.

Who is going put a teenager with very little V8 experience in the enduro's? He'd be better off angling for a Dunlop drive for next year or something.
