Holdsworth says he set the lap record last year at QR. That was in the EMV8. He's a nice guy but, he's been out of luck since leaving GRM.

A blue car was on fire today.
Paul Morris in the Dunlop Series. He wasn't happy with the fire marshals either.

These Super Production car races are awesome. Little Yaris ahead of the Z.

Did it make the car go faster ?
Nah, he is out for the weekend due to the damage done to the wiring (electric).

It's great when their are some battles. The 2 Porsches had a ripper race too.

Good to see the V8 community supporting Adam Goodes:

For our international members, Goodes is an indigenous AFL player who has been repeatedly booed during games of late (and in the lead-up to the multicultural round, too), re-igniting debates about racism. It's getting to the point where the Sydney Swans have had to bench him for the sake of his welfare. It's particularly unfortunate that he should be forced to consider early retirement when 90% of the public are behind him while Bronwyn Bishop is likely to keep her job despite 90% of the population losing faith in her.

Holy snaps! Heimgartner.

Mostert.

I love this guy, his personality alone makes him awesome.

Well, at least McLaughlin's up there. Fingers crossed the Volvo actually lasts the race distance for a change.

I had the chance to meet him, albeit briefly, last year, and he's no different offscreen, which is always good to see. Hopefully he stays in V8SC, it'll be a massive shame to lose him.

Lowndes on pole for Race 2, followed by Winterbottom.

What an awesome sight. Everyone at QR just got an awesome treat. And to see everyone on the pitwall and a fair majority wearing the Happy Birthday Gazza shirt, that was something special.

Bright has hit something hard. That front end is in pretty bad shape.

Everything is happening now.

Crazy cazy opening laps. Heimgartner braking way too early. Everyone stuffing the nose when they see daylight.

Well the #17 is done. Coulthard slides on Pye's oil.

Aannddd Fox Sports 5 is apparently 'nnot available'. The transmission just stopped. No images or sound.

EDIT- Back now.

Cheeseburger 👎
How is that his fault? Mostert tried to pit manouver him coming onto the main straight.

You must have missed Shane move him out of the way in turn 3 AND turn 6.
