Todd holding his *imaginary* Armor-All Pole Award.

Hopefully another driver can lend Dacison a cool suit if EMV8 can't fix the issue.

I followed twitter and the race is over.
". Mostert, 2 . McLaughlin, no word on Davison and Kelly at the moment. Lowndes comes last with some dramas. "

Wow even for a street track that is insanely narrow in spots, will be some sweet crashes for sure. Probably not much quality racing though.

Read the twitter race call. Seemed like plenty of passing.

Hilarious. Todd's always had a good sense of humour. Except of course, when an engine fails...:dopey:

"... And later on, James Phelps who doesn't hold back on his views on the top 10 of the V8SC grid".

He probably should hold back as it's usually far from the truth. And then he looks like an absolute idiot for saying it.

Anyway, Chad Neylon and Scott Pye on the panel. Great to see Chad back on, did a good job the last time he was on.

EDIT- Finally saw a decent on board and holy 🤬 , the track is a lot tighter than I thought. The highlights of the race makes me thinks this could be one of the best rounds in terms of on track entertainment for the whole year.

EDIT 2- McLaughlin has a phobia of snakes. Never knew that one.

the circuit definitely is tight. I'm sure the passing was due to not blocking on the racing line. That will have to be enforced next year. It's the only way for good racing there. Chad made a valid point about the length of the races going forward. They will have to be short races due to the humidity. If the race moves to April, as was proposed, it could be better.

Phelps is a bum. I like Scott and Skaife giving racer's opinion about engineer/driver/team relationships. Rusty just stayed out of it.

One of my mates will be working on Coulthard's car again for SMP. Guess I'll be going. :D

Drivers call for changes to the KL City track layout.

Nope. If they change all the things listed, the circuit will be instantly killed. The only thing that should be changed is run-off only at the high-speed corners. Track width is fine, it's a street circuit, not a permanent circuit. Bumps, honestly, that along with the track width is what make the track as good as it is.

In short, don't mess with it.

I completely agree with you/Todd Kelly.

I felt it is fine as we saw it. Fix the "pitlane" and that barrier that sticks out. It'll be just fine.

He would obviously have to prove himself elsewhere before they would even think of throwing him into a V8.

Mazda uninterested by Gen2.

A bit of a shame as it would have been nice to see Mazda back in the championship since the days of the RX-7.

Horse pucky.

I keep looking at the SpeedSource Mazda6. There was a lot of fabrication to make that chassis durable, stable and fit all the components that make that race car. If all the time Volvo put in to make the S60 and Nissan, to get the Altima up to speed, Mazda dissapoint me. That's a cop out. Australians buy Mazdas by the hords. The 3 was only natural becauae of how many sold. The 6 fits perfectly. Unless Mazda can't make 650hp(635hp) from their SkyActiv diesel, that may be the reason they're baulking.

Might be in a minority but I hate this scheme. Doesn't suit car shape at all imo.

It's the exact same scheme they've been using all year, just with different colours. I prefer the Shell colours from earlier, but this looks good too.

MAN OH MAN! That bad boy is going to look crazy this weekend!

Put it this way, they'll show Super Black, how to do a black car.

Reminds me of this:

Yes, I was just about to post that. First thing I thought of when I saw it. Does look very nice though, colours work really well together. Probably my favourite DJR-Penske livery so far.
