Foxtel currently has a deal going on (until the end of the month) where setup and installation is free, along with no lock-in contracts. So if you're still missing out on full V8 coverage, now's a good time! We've just upgraded from Foxtel Play thanks to this deal, so I'm excited to actually being able to watch some racing and using the internet at the same time without any buffering (still another year until we get the NBN here).

On another note, hoping for the round to be as good as it was last year and of course it was one of the few rounds I missed too.

If this the actually colour of the grey/silver on the car, I take back my previous statement of how good it is. Looks like grey primer. Awful. :yuck:

It's that Army grey. When I look at the render, it does look grey rather than silver.

Phelps, so close... it's Cameron Waters... not Cameron Walters.

He'll get it one day...

Drew and Aaron Russel have a Bathurst 1000 Wildcard Entry. In a ex-GRM Holden #62 sponsored by Plus Fitness.

"Nissan news" ay? Hmm, wonder...*cough*gt academy*cough*... it could... *cough*gt academy*cough*... be. :D

She is likely the best Female driver in the world though, but getting used to the V8SC will be a challange.

Yeah but it looked like more of a metallic grey in the render rather than the flat Army grey.
but Di Silvestro hasn't driven a V8SC before, so I dunno.

And I can't imagine that she's going to get a lot of testing time before Bathurst? Still awesome opportunity for Renee to learn from someone with as much as experience as Simona has.

Simona Di Silvestro and Renee Gracie are entering a Bathurst 1000 wildcard.

So they went with Di Silvestro, this may be good for Gracie to help get some experience, but Di Silvestro hasn't driven a V8SC before, so I dunno.

Well, I did not see that coming. This will definitely get more racers talking and wanting to race on the mountain. Hey, maybe she'll want to do the 12H.

But wait, there's more

Aside from Caruso's red navara livery earlier in the year, that is the best livery any of the Nissan's have had so far. Very cool.

Another oil line went bye bye on Courtney's car in the co-driver session earlier I see. Great start to the weekend...:indiff:

Strange occurrence for James Courtney shortly before Practice 2. A navy helicopter was flying above pitlane when the wash from the helicopter pushed the pit boom down and blew the covers for the pit boom off. Unluckily, a piece of that cover has struck Courtney in the ribs or arm. Apparently he is having scans at a nearby hospital for it.

Very strange occurrence, and hopefully Courtney is fine and good to go for tomorrow.

EDIT- Speedcafe has reported on it now.

EDIT 2-

Haven't seen the video but that is a freaky stuff. Talk about wrong place wrong time. :scared: Hopefully JC will be good for tomorrow.
