Id suggest a class system with only 8 people in each class, 16 get to qualify but only the top 8 are are allowed in.

Max 32 competitors (16 for each class) based on first come first serve , if you're not in the 32 competitors on the thread you dont even get the chance to qualify.

Street Legal class:

300-400 bhp
JDM only
Engine sizes up to 3,500cc
Cylinder limit of 6

(This caters for people who want a lower powered fun competition)

Pro Class:

500-600 bhp
Top level drift cars
Engine size up to 6,000cc
Cylinder limit of 8

(This caters for the people who prefer huge power and more exotic cars)

I like this idea it would ruin my day if my challenger cant compete, more and more drift tournements these day are usually are limited to low of power or only allow japanese or european cars. And honestly its getting quite annoying
 
Sorry but I prefer to keep same amount of HP. It's the way I like this event, no limit is bad. 450 or 500 is just enough. I don't like slow battles anyway, its a game lol ,missiles are ony nice in real. Fast fox has already a nice competition for this.

PLUS the new 86 versions are very fast compared with any other low hp car, but it has not so good angle and I'm afraid a lot will use that car.
The 350Z is good, but if that car is that good, then everyone should use it, so its not fair to forbid cars. Its an amazing car but not my type of car anymore, I used it too much. The real tuners will find a new toy anyway lol.

Its your competition and I will compete, but this is what I'm thinking :P.

Once again I agree there is already one event like this I should have thought my arguement through first lol. But keeping it at 500hp would be nice. That way it can bring out a bit of everything, many japanese cars could still run and we can still have a mix or euro and american cars
 
In reality i'd love to make a point based system for the missile comps, but I dont want to take away from VDC or try to mimic VDC at all. Spanks deserves the credit for this and I dont want to reign in on his parade. With that being said. No matter what Spank decides for VDC3, I'm sure we all will join regardless. Most of us are looking for organized competitions regardless what they may be.
 
yea 450 or 500 is enough, if you really need 600hp there's something wrong with you. All I want to do is whip out my m3 csl (or my penis) and just smack everyone across the face with 483hp!
 
I know alot of people like drifting the highest powered cars they can get but to me that's just too over used. All I see in comps now a days it Viper, Vettes, and 350z's!! My comp is based off XDC, not Formula Drift or D1. And you dont see much of high horsepower cars in it.

Yea maybe v8 swapped 240s and stuff but not making 600hp, and we all know the unfairness of people who wanna drift 370hp S13's against people who must have their 600hp vettes and stuff. I want this to be as fair as possible and I know thats hard to do in GT5 without restricting a bit. I just hoped maybe people would broaden their horizons and want to explore with other cars then the 350z and the vette.

I like the idea of 2 Rooms but Im not sure what the interest would be for both. I had the idea of having two and you can compete in both if you would like but you can only choose to get points in 1 of the series not both, like they do on Nascar and Nationwide Series.

- *400-450hp Limit
- *$40,000Cr Limit Vehicle Purchase
- *Vehicle Restrictions.

Example Cars:
- Mazda Rx-7 (FC)
- Nissan Silvias (13-14) (Also including 270R)
- Nissan Silvia (S15)
- Nissan Skyline GTS-T
- Toyota Chaser
- Toyota Soarer
- Mazda Miata (NA, NB, NC)
- Toyota Trueno
- Toyota 86
- etc.

(Formula D Based)Name unknown:
- *600HP
- *$60,000Cr Limit
- *No Vehicle Restrictions

Example Cars:
- Nissan Fairlady's (Z32,33,34)
- Chevrolet Corvette
- Dodge Viper
- Dodge Challenger
- Ford Mustang
- Chevrolet Camaro
- etc.

Powell that would be the initial cost of the car. More details will be disclosed later. I think myself and spank are going to try something. But we need to iron out the details. Spank has a format that I think will satisfy everybody.

I actually like that idea. I would compete in something like that if i had my ps3.
 
I like the idea of 1 car, the one car would be a nissan 240sx and everyone would show there own tuning skills!
 
Yeah but people in the community are known to help people. Not saying its a bad thing but it would just be skill. Variety is the spice of life.

I would say do one class

45000cr limit
475hp limit
No rx7 fd's 350z (the fast cars) etc
and lets do this :dopey: 👍

But what do I know, Iv never hosted a event. And its probably isnt as easy as just typing it on the forum :ouch:
 
A lot of the 350z's were my fault haha. About 3 people weren't gonna use them because of the narrow tires but I used mine one day and they copied me haha.
 
I'm looking at cars right now, and there's **** all good cars for 60k. There's barely anything in between that and 50k, I think it would have to go up at least another 20k for the pro class.
