"Cars allowed:
Honda Civic RM 295 HP 1000 KG
Volkswagen Golf GTi RM 305 HP 1000 KG
Honda CRZ RM 295 HP 1000 KG
Mazda MX-5 RM 280 HP 940 KG"
Is the Integra on the list? I don't see it, yet some drivers were talking about using it.
"Better Regs to come soon."
When? Before the races start or during the season?
"You MUST Qualify with Racing Softs and any tires can be used during the race."
"You MUST start with the tires you used to qualify with.
You can use Racing Hards, Racing Softs, and Racing Mediums."
This could be simplified. So we can just use Soft tyres for the whole race?
That's what I meant by this not being ready for people to make an informed car choice and get useful testing data from pre season practice.
Hold a pre season race when you have a final car list decided and confirmed regs that equalise the cars. That way the result will give you a real indication of car performance over the race distance rather than it just being an extended test session.
You could maybe have a look at using a PP limit to regulate the TC class. That might take into account any flattened power curves, torque and drive type.
I'm still keen to take part in this, but the lack of turnout for the last session may be an indication that some people are getting the same impression as myself from the vague information in first post.
