I could bump the car up to a ridiculous bhp and tune it down, see how that does, but between looking after my sister and sleeping in for much of the day, with having work in an hour and some chores to get out of the way, I haven't had time for ALMS today. I'll be testing GP/F in the BMW for half an hour.

JODIE! JODIE! "Shut up or I'll shove this ****ing controller up your bum!" that was one of the funniest things that's happened to me online on playstation!

10.30pm sounds even better to me. I have just registered for the series I'll be using the Volvo. Look forward to seeing you all either at practice or the race. Who do I need to add to my friends list on psn by the way?

Pick me, pick me! :)

Welcome to the Championship. I think it's 9:30 PM for pre-race practice, 10 P.M. for qualifying. At 11 P.M. your time, the Rolex Sports Car Series race begins, and 50% of ITCC drivers are also in the Rolex Sports Car Series.

I will give this a try.

cnd01/cnd01/ford focus st/central daylight time.

Hmm, I thought you were already in this series. I think this series and Rolex.are starting to mix in with each other.

Anyway, welcome. This is turning out to be a really good series.

Nope, but I guess I am for this week. I have tomorrow afternoon off. Look forward to racing with you guys.

So I tested today again.
Result is I won´t take the Nismo.
203-206kw = 276bHP and 1100kg
=> 1:07.986 but that was a luck-lap. Normal is 1:08.0-1:08.5

That´s just not competitive for me. It has too much understeer for me with a Distribution of 56/44.

Tested further Cars:
Efini RX-7 (premium) 203kw 1150kg RS --> 1:07.557
RX8 (premium) 203kw 1150kg RS ---> 1:07.496

=> They are quick and handle great. RX7 twitchier due to stock Turbo and earlier Torque.
RX8 is very good with Tires.

The RX7 is insane good. It doesn't even need to be near 260hp, just some words of my experience.

Yeah I only did a quick test.
1200kg will do some work, maybe drop the power a bit.
I find the RX8 better though :D

Guys, I don't know how you guys seem to think that certain cars are directly faster.

Seth & Sakery seem very fast. I think that the cars which are supposedly "faster" are actually just the cars that fit your driving styles better.

Norm, the guy who was doing pretty well in the RX-8 said that the Focus wasn't fast. I just ran a 1:07.6 in it. The Focus obviously didn't fit his driving style.

Honestly, guys, I'm pretty happy with the car roster we have. Once people finalize their car, and test it, then we'll have a benchmark. In the meantime, with so many switches happening, it's hard to get a handle on which car can do which laps.

One person might say "This car's slow." Then, the next day, a different might say "this [same] car is incredibly fast."

Consider your *DRIVING* style before considering the car. I'm not complaining, but, I'm stating that there's way too much discussion about cars that are fast and slow. Pick *ONE* car, and use it. A tuning setup is always worth a second. Today, I tuned the Civic, and got it from 1:08.4 to 1:07.6. Everyone has a car, which could have a better tune. Try to tune it, first, please.

Mel, I can no longer take a part in this, sorry man I am also resigning from rolex. Very sorry man I just don't have the time anymore. (Work, hanging with friends, etc.) As far as I know I am able to do WGTC and I am running my own series again so am very busy. Sorry and hope to play with you still.

That's alright Harrison.

Guys, we need more stewards now, please! With Harrison's resignation, we only have two official stewards. I like to discuss incidents, (we don't have many) because I think it's pretty important that we discuss our conclusions.

Anyone's welcome.

the_Boyce expressed interest. If you're still interested, you're welcome to marshall/be steward.

I will be a steward as long as I can compete as well.

Yo, so... I was thinking of setting a few cars to online so that you can test my tunes. I'll ask that if you want to make any changes, do them on the two available settings sheets or not tune them at all. I'll put these car online:

Peugeot 207 GTi '07 - 276 bhp & 1200 kg
Honda Integra Type R '04 - 236 bhp & 1100 kg
Suzuki Swift '05 - 227 bhp & 1100 kg

Feel free to add me on PSN so you can test them out.

You can. Your schedule works for the season? We're glad to have you, and I've added you to the registered drivers list.

Suzuki Swift @ 227 hp?

I can review the race if I can't actually make some of the rounds. I have a somewhat flexible work schedule for the summer. I will always let you guys know if I can't make a race. Heck I make sure everyone knows I will be able to make a race:)

Deal. I'll probably post the replay files on a file share site, for those days, and drivers will get an allowance of three missed normal season rounds, without losing points; there are three "Make Up Rounds" at the end of the season.

(updating your standing in the Registered Drivers spreadsheet)

Can I add any GT Auto upgrades on my Focus? It is already pretty heavy. I would like the option of real and possibly front downforce if it is available for the Focus. This preseason race won't be a full showing of speed because I don't even own the car yet. I will have a long test tonight with it along with 3 other series I am involved in. I have to take the ACT tomorrow, but I have tomorrow off from work so I can get a quick tune in before the race.

Front aero is okay, as are all bumpers, but, rear wings just aren't up to the job.

And, I ran the Focus ST today, got a 1:07.6 (fast time)

I could share my setup with you, as a starting point for tomorrow.

What's an ACT?

So true. Everyone can handle different cars better than others or has a better tune than someone else. You and a good setup is the only way to make your car faster. Also mastering the track. Don't spend say 10 minutes with a car then give up. Improve , master and learning something with it. I've done probs about 50 laps with my car and changed setup god knows how many times. That's one sit in. Now it handles so good for a FF, grips well and is pretty quick through the corners.

I ran the Ford at that time as well, Mr.M! But I think it can get a little faster. That wasn't a low-fuel run. So in qualifying speed, we may see 1:06's! With various cars!

What's an ACT?

The ACT test is a test that American colleges look at. If you score well enough, they will offer you scholarships to that college. Of course the ACT isn't the only thing colleges look at, but it is the biggest factor in going to college.

Soooo glad I have another year until I have to deal with those!

Nice cdn.

Seth, I know man. I didn't tune the Azbo ST at all. I just dropped the initial torque.

Well, now there are 7-8 Rolex drivers in here too! So can we just use the same room? Or are we going to try racing in a lounge to avoid the inevitable troll or two?

After the end of pre-season (21 days!!) we will be in a lounge. The schedule is tight as is, let alone with kicking trolls.

Yea! Pretty soon it's going to be a "Super saturday" with ITCC followed by Rolex! (wouldn't it be cool if they start on the same weekend??)

21 days to arrange Rolex Series season 2... Well.... 28... Meh.

Maybe, slow gt cars down, add 3 DP cars.. Home alone 4 days of the week... What else would I do?! (besides my planned daily bike ride across the neighborhood) the cautions is where it's going to take time... We NEED everyone on the same page with them.

I wish I still had my bike... Ten foot cliffs. Pfft, why did you break, bike?

Otherwise, seems about right.
