Oh wow, last week was your first sanctioned event? 👍 You seemed, somewhat, like a natural; you didn't cause many crashes, and you followed most of the rules. That is, from what I've seen, but, I trust that you haven't done too much. Seriously, great job, for your first time out!

Considering that your first round was a preseason testing round, and all of the mistakes you made won't be big deals, you are on a good start! Keep up the momentum, man.

Thanks MrMel. I thought I was overly cautious lol. My time will come hey. One step at a time.

Yep. Your little comfort slip didn't help. But, as time goes on, you'll work these mistakes out, and you'll be a podium contender within, probably, three rounds.

Lol ... Thanks for the reminder ...:)
And thank you for the vote of confidence as well ...

Well there goes last nights testing ... Back to square one ... Lol
I'm looking forward to this weekend. I felt that the last round was a good learning point for me (being my first online sanctioned race and all).:scared:
I'll take what I've learnt into this weekend.👍

Good job man. You looked like you had a lot of experience. Even though your setup was less than perfect, I thought you were a pretty good driver.

Thanks cnd ... but what do you mean my setup was less than perfect?

I am just teasing with you. I am also about to get online for a test. Anyone interested? I will post the room # as soon as I get in the room

I may get on at some point. Maybe after I've broken in the Audi R8 ready for Rolex testing..... or not, since my sister just this second walked in asking to play on the "car football game" that I downloaded from PS Store ages ago... but hopefully I get on at some point today.

Hey I'm open to any and all advice ... setup or not ...
I'll be coming online now now and join you if the room is still open ...

Still up and running. At least for now.

im just wondering what made you think we were cheating on the weight in the civic, well more k1m then me

Most likely you guys were just that much.faster than everyone else.

Anyone else having problems with psn? Looks like the network is offline ...

Think CND's room is closed so if anyone wants to test:

MAFIA Motorsports test. I ran a 1.00.464. I was consistent 1.00.7s for the first 3 or so laps. On mediums I was 1.01.7 average. My softs lasted 7 laps. The mediums started losing speed after 4 or 5 laps depending on how hard I drove.

new time
diddy49: 1:00:128
Killer1midget: 1:00:000

That is fast. JZR civic is legit. Definite teammate benefits right there. I am by myself, so that slows the setup process down because I can only try one thing at one time.

Wow. Okay, so, there are some very fast drivers in this series.

softs last 6 laps driving a sprint race, lose 4 tenths on last lap or two because of wair. and we are racing the bog standard set up, the one the car came with, thats why were in the civic as it seems qiuck with no setup, which is why we droped the volvo as there was too much effort to make it fast

Again, just so people don't think that the Volvo's slow, though, I did about three or four minor tweaks, and got it to the same pace as my Honda.

The only reason I'm using the Honda, is the lights/styling. I just love the Acura CSX/Honda Civic Type R.

the volvo is good but im doing GCSEs cos im in my main year at 16, and zack is racing a lot of weekends so we have little time to test, 1 or 2 times a week max for about an hour to hour and a half so it just wasnt possible for us

Hi guys, just being out doing some testing, and heres the time i have achieved. A few little minor adjustments needed, and im sure i'll be hitting the 58's.

:) That's my point. The Volvo takes a little work to get right, and some other cars are just easier out of the box.

The rotary cars, and FR Nissans are fast without tuning setups, for example, (or, if that's not perfect, a few minor tweaks) but the Volvo is fast with a large number of tweaks. The Volvo's a tweaker/tuner's car, whereas, for example, the Nismo 270R is a driver's car.

In the end, I reckon, that they're all somewhat similar, in terms of lap times, but some will have "specialties," just like the drivers.

I'm fastest on the very tight, tricky street courses, but, I'm not as fast on the open, winding circuits. I know, that I'm not as quick through hairpins, as I am through chicanes, so I am best on the tricky tracks. The cars are the same way.

I have tweaked and improved the focus by a second over my meager 1.01.6 that I ran the first time I tried the chicane, but I am still almost a second off the fastest time. I am faster in the sharp hairpin turns than the sweepers due to inconsistent oversteer/understeer issues with the focus. MAFIA Motorsports needs to expand to a two car team.

Well, you could offer some incentive. I'm thinking, for season 2, we're going to have some people who want to be team bosses, who directly pay the drivers they recruit.

In saying that, yes, there will be a season 2. Whether there's a Season 3, or not, relies on the release date of GT6.

So season 3 to begin in 2020?
