First, though, mics on or off?
As of right now you have done nothing wrong. I wish we could have run some more laps together. I know it must be hard getting a connection in South Africa with people in Europe and the Americas.
Tsukuba normal or the Motorcycle version ??
Well didn´t dee any hint that the MC is being used => just went to Tsukuba.
PS There is no Tsukuba MC in GT5 but the part after the Dunlop Bridge can be driven and that would bee the MC version.
Wow those are really fast times.I can only hit those times if I run through the chicane. Now I know who to try and keep up with so I can use the draft.
Don't focus too much on who is fastest and what your ultimate lap times are. It is after all a 15 lap race not a TT. Race and pit strategy, tire wear strategy and consistent pacing are the major factors in winning long races that include both tire wear and pit stops. Tsukuba is the type of track where a half dozen guys can be within 2/10ths or so in qualifying, but more important is how long you can make your RS tires last and what your average pace is throughout your run and towards the end of that run, because everyone will be fast in their first lap or two on RS tires.
What's the race distance for Tsukuba?
anirishnirvanaI would have a guess at maybe one lap extra per race than GVE, going by the times. Then again no Rolex after means more relaxed schedule
I am trying to figure out which tire compound to start on. It prob depends where I qualify. Lots of variables.
freshseth83I'm going to be trying the Toyota GT86 as my car choice. It's not the fastest in a straight, but it's handling is very good. 1120kg 255hp should suffice.
cnd01Let me know when you guys are going to start the big test tonight. I will make as much of it as I can.
Wednesday Night Practice
Will be opening up a lobby tomorrow around 6pm est. or so if anybody wants to get some practice laps in. Also maybe some practice races if enough drivers show up.
