Speaking of clones, I actually made one myself. But no one trusts the LLama's :(

Did quick testing Yesterday at Madrid Reverse: 1:29.8xx
My problem sector is the second one, the left-double-right before the backstraight esacially.
Scedule for the Season sounds great 👍

Thanks Dave ... You up for some testing later? Should be on around 18:00 GMT+2 ...
Joys of finally having a team mate ... lol
Sorry Damu ... :sly:

that entire section is tricky, try turning sharper at the left hander hang wide at the first right then catch the kerb in the second left, and just miss the kerb on exit, its worth around 2 10ths

i wish nizmo, its a bit late for me during the week lol,

Lol ... I'll run some tests tonight and see what I can do with the car ...
What are all you guys racing with... DS3 or wheel?

wheel

@TDZdave: Yeah I kinda thought so. Slower through the left to almost full throttle the double rights. Will test further just because it´s Tuesday :D and maybe I find better lines through it.

I´m using DS3, just because I don´t have the space for a Seat-Wheel combo. And I don´t have the Time to adjust to a Wheel (GT1-GT5 I played with Controller so ...).

Ye I know what you mean Sake ... I've been playing since GT1 with a controller ... Old habits die hard and i don't think I'll adjust to a wheel that easily ... That and the fact that I'll spend my money on more important things ... Lol

Yay! I finally get a break from the grave yard shift. Even if its only one night. Been up since 11 last night though. So when I get home its time for a power nap. After that I should be able to put a good session in. Where is everyone testing? Mel or Cnd's lounge?

Hopefully I can get into the 1:29's here. I dont know this track at all. :(

I got a G27 for Christmas, and I just really started getting used to it these last couple months. I'm still just as fast with the controller.

i had the same worries with the wheel, but it makes the experience more real, i struggle using a controller now, the g27 you get so much better feel with throttle and steering input, im at the point where in the rm corvette just throttle alone is worth 3 seconds and most tracks,

kingsakey, yeah pretty much, the key to that section is precision, the complex of corners is difficult, just dribble through it at around 75% and when you find the right line, your lap time will get faster the better you get it, then just hold the line and nail it, its worth half a second<

I am getting online now. Will be in my lounge unless someone else has a lobby up already.

You guys are on way too early for me. I'll be on in an hour or so.

So, I'm disappointed that we have to pay for Motegi, and I don't know if we can make an official points race out of it, but I might just run out and grab $20 PSN cash and download the track. In saying that, Division 1, Division 2 and my personal account would all need the download.

Otherwise, though, who else is buying the Motegi packs? Motegi East and West are pretty fun touring car circuits. Especially the East layout.

I have like 12 dollars in my wallet now. I will buy it tomorrow.

I have money waiting.

I think the east part of the course will be the best thing to run for this series. A few turns, good grid boxes, and it isn't too long. The Rolex SCS and ALMS can run the full course.

That was my idea too. Certainly the West course has good grid boxes and short lap times, but, it's also... incredibly boring.

Yup the west course is basically the oval without the banking and one little right turn.

The Wikipedia article states that "two races can not occur at the same time" as a result of the West circuit addition part, because the pits for the Oval cross the West portion. Uhhh, no, that's not right; if a race is on the East Course, then the West course portion and the oval are still available. :scared: Idiot people. Wikipedia: almost always wrong.

That's why it is called the "free" encyclopedia. If it is free it is wrong

Wikipedia's right. You're correct in saying that a race could take place on both the oval and East course at the same time. but as Wiki says, you can't hold a race on the West/Full course and the oval at the same time, because the oval garages are separated from the oval pits by the road course and its pits.

Was that "West Course" bit in small disclaimer print? :scared:

I have the track already. It's a great course.

You bought it? What're the ITCC lap times on the East course please? I think they'll be around 1:32 or lower.
