The GT4 is coming out not late 2003 in north america..thast thet release date for japan...all u peple who beleive that r idiots...the release date in north america is sometime in november 2004.

oh ya for GT4 the Grpahics..which people think r the most important..the grpahics for the GT4 will be like near photo style graphics..like almost REAL!!!!!...and also there will be online compnets..and i think oflline compnents too...but...downloading cars from the internet will be free...and only if u pay for the obnline broadband..i don't know if u can play oflline tho..so...

I'm sure that they will improve a bit on the graphics but the PS2 is allready reaching its full potential with GT3 and GTC. So I don't see how it can be made a lot more realistic than it is right now...

I'm looking forward to GT4 though

What are you talking about? GT3 was released in April in Japan and in June for the U.S. I doubt we will have tow ait 12 months after Japan gets it

considering they r only 50% done fool and they r finishing GTC first before starting on GT4 and it takes a long time..after they need to fix bugs and ****..and also GT3 has lots of bugs they could not find..they will release it on late 2003 in japan..and sometime in decmber or novermber 2004..

lol PS3 is gay..people will not buy it...its just like xbox they haven't figured out how u make copy games for it yet...and people r buying $100 games when they can be bouht for 10-20 dollars...i doubt ps3 will even play cd's..from what i heard along time ago..that ps3 will be all online gaming..and that u have to pay to download games...whic will cost 60-120 dollaers at max..and don't forget ur broadband too...for sony...thats cost money too..so i doubt peoople will buy ps3..instaed stick with ps2 for cheap games..anf not pay 100 dollars for the same game and pay only 10-20 for the same quality...

Yeah, NO computer processors are fully rounded off. They make them as powerful as their budget allows, then round them off to a number that makes sense.

Why do people round them off? Because no one cares about 5.02 mhz. 5.02 mhz means absolutly nothing.

And the PS2 is pretty powerful. It has VERY good allocation of resources, and GT4 will be a step up from GT3. As someone already said, GT3 uses only about a third of the PS2's power.

The only problem the PS2 has is when rendering more then about 10 onscreen moving objects at once.

Details are scarce, but we do know that the title will feature online networking capabilities, taking advantage of Sony’s hard drive a modem peripherals, set for release in late 2002 / early 2003.

The title’s date was revealed during an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, where a spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment commented "We are developing the game with a late 2003 release in mind [in Japan]. Why are you so incoherently stupid?

1) Learn how to type.

2) PS3 is NOT going to be a 'pay-per-play' entertainment system. Why do you think they use DVD's right now? Because the resulting traffic would be absolutly horrendus, and cranking out DVD's is a hell of a lot cheaper then sending data over the internet. Sony would never make a console broadband only. It would effectively kill their product.

DVD's can hold a suprising amount of Data. That's why they use them instead of cd's right now, and will continue to for the next while.

Yes, PS3 will have a hard drive, standard, most likely. But still. Pay-per-play gaming has been tried before. And failed. Horribly.
