All the new guys are put together as you are all playing low rank aircraft. I got that regularly too when I first started. Go to rank 4 and 5 and you get the pro players who will be being kind if they let you live past the first engagement.Unless everyone just sucks, I feel I did pretty damn good. I will surely continue playing this game!
I fear that momentThat will start happening when you run into Zeros and spits etc.
I'm in the same boat (or in this case tank) as you're in. I can't fly worth a damn yet I am a decent tanker. I sent you a fr on War Thunder (my name is DurWINNING). Maybe we can play together one of these days.Ok, so I decided to join this "War Thunder" business, downloaded the client and gave it a few runs. I can tell where the allure comes from, it is fun when you engage in plane battles or try to fill an enemy tank with shells from afar. I am more of a ground battle guy, to be quite honest I can't fly worth a s:censored:t.
Mind you, I didn't do that badly when it came to my first tank battle. I did win my first tank battle, so there's that. Airplanes? My best rank so far was 5th out of 10 or so planes, and that took some doing. I wonder how it is when you move up the ranks and get better weapons. Does any of the pros in here have any tips to a random rookie such as myself?
Ah, and my nickname is Apex_HC, in case you're wondering.

Tips for being a decent pilot:
Never go head-on with another plane unless you absolutely know you're a good shot and have better guns than the plane you're going at
Pick a targeting/convergence distance and stick with it
Don't join a furball, as it is better to wait at altitude and pick a target that is suitable to attack
Try to stick with your team unless they aren't climbing and are going straight for the enemy
Be fully aware of your surroundings. If you're putting your focus on a target, it could be possible that a friendly will be close by and that brings a chance of colliding with them if you and/or them aren't watching the minimap/knowing what's around
I had a situation the other night where I was at a point where my controls were tightening up due to speed and I was unable to avoid a friendly. I felt awful about it and took full blame since I put myself into a situation where it took a team mate out.
Yeah, best to get use to arcade, at least for combat purposes. Realistic can come later if you want to move up to that. If you want your pilot to have a better chance of surviving, you've got to add points to vitality.
I do my best to avoid head-on engagements as the DS4 is not the greatest for precise aiming, but there are times where it's not possible to avoid.

Hmm... I don't think you should save some money for get new graphic cards, 16GB RAM, or CPU?I'm on the PS4. My computer can't run the game.
Hit share, go upload video, trim it then upload to YouTube then copy a link hereI just had one of the better games I will ever have in the 105 Sherman. How the hell do I show you guys the replay?
Oh, 15 minutes isn't bad anyway, and you can split it into 2 or more partsHe's on PC. They get full match replays. We only get 15 minutes.
Gotta play tanks for that.Oh yeah where are the maps where there are both ground and air players?
