They can be if you have a nice amount of silver lions stocked up.

What really annoys me is when I'm shooting at an enemy and a team mate comes through and rams into them. 🤬

It's even worst when they ram YOU when you're trying to take aim... Seriously, you have no idea how annoying that is.

But yes, tank battles can be fun, but take their toll on my computer. Air Battles are fine, but the FPS really drops when I try to engage in a tank battle. (I'll be lucky if it doesn't drop to the red level)

What is worse is when another team mate is chasing the same guy and they either shoot you down or ram into you.

Ok question: Why does the M4A2 require 50,000 RP and 200,000 Silver to buy it? A low tier III costs the same as my IS-1. And what's with the M4A1 and M4A2 76 Sherman costs? 61,000 RP is somewhat reasonable but you an buy them for 120,000 Silver Lions a piece. That's only 40,000 silver more than the 75mm armed M4A2 Sherman if you buy both.

Quick newb question: What is the best beginners airplane? I've been fiddling with the British Hawk biplanes, and that question popped up in my head.

As in reserve planes? That would be the KI10 from Japan.

Or the p26 M2 because one of it's 2 guns is a .50 or the I15 because it has 4 guns but performance wise the KI10 is the best.

Oh yeah, right. Let's say... ranks 1 to 3. A single example for each.
1-3 is a hell of a lot of planes.

1. I-16 type 24 or Hurricane mk1. The SBD Dauntless is good as well but that is a dive bomber not a fighter.
2. I have to go for the Zero.
3. Ki43 III otsu is my favourite. The Yak 3 and Spitfire mk 9 and the Corsair are good shouts though. The B7A2 is a great torpedo and dive bomber as well.

That's good enough, just to get a clear idea of the ideal planes. Fun that I haven't experienced neither of them yet, will have to check all of them as I progress. Again, thanks.

Remember though a lot of it is about how you play. I like planes with a bit of agility on them but fast planes have their own strengths and if your plane is significantly faster then you have an easy kill. You might hate the KI43 for example as it is terrible in a dive.

Well, you do have a point. With faster planes, you can get around the battlefield faster. But agility means you can move better and make cleaner moves.

Yes but faster planes also means you can BnZ better. If you are beyond firing range before they can fire then you are invincible.

Class 1 is usually better at turning as they still have the WW1 mentality in their design. If you want fast though I would go with the Lagg3-11.

I have in fact gotten one of those just a while back, and I must say, it is pretty quick. Suprisingly, I managed to one-shot a biplane with it on my first skirmish with the Lagg. But my I-15 still seems to be my most long-lasting plane in battles, and also managed to be a part of a great story.

Domination battle, Stalingrad (the one with the three bases to conquer). Near the end of the battle, two bases were in the hands of the enemy team, but our team still had the best chances. With no one in sight, I try to land my I-15 WR on base B, but my rough landing skills made me a sitting duck. My engine got shot to bits, but I still had a chance, so I turned the plane around and made a soft landing. Base gets conquered and my team ends up winning thanks to that. I did get shot to hell after the landing, but my job was done. Pretty neat, huh?

Oh you play arcade? Turn fighting all the way then.

The Lagg one shotted a biplane because it has a 20mm cannon.

And that would mean?

No kidding, even I was astonished after doing that. That thing packs a mean punch, it's a whole different monster from the 7mm cannons of most biplanes.

30cal Mgs are useless in higher tiers but then you don't find them at higher tiers. 20mm cannon shells expload on impact if it is a HEF shell.

I am asking if you play arcade because the usual rules of BnZing don't apply.

I play most arcade, yes. I still haven't touched other modes, if that's what you're asking. And I'm not sure if I want to right now, to be honest.

It is a lot more fun I think but it is a lot more about skill and less about luck.

I guess I like arcade so much because the battles are fast-paced. There's no dull moment, there is always someone in front and behind, ready to pounce. Guess for now my objective is to try different planes and see which ones I can use the best.
