🤬 Gaijin. I ripped the tail off a plane and got the kill assist for it.
Happens sometimes. The kill scoring is incredibly hard though. It is a similar problem to why people get penalties for ramming in racing games when they are the victim. The computer finds it hard to see who made the kill. In this scenario someone had already given the plane what it believed to be crippling damage so awarded the kill to them.

It was blowing oil smoke out of the right engine, but since it had two engines I don't see how it should have been credited to the other player and me given an assist since I'm the one that actually knocked it out of the sky.

Oh well... got the LaGG-3-8 finished off with upgrades in the process of unlocking the rest of the tier 1 Russian planes.

Sorry to boast again, but didn't think I would improve my previous kill count so soon.
Previous kill count didn't have a death though.
Score could have been higher, but I accidentally killed a friendly tank as well when I bombed an enemy tank.

Exceeded the speed in the Yak-1 today. As soon as I got the warning, the wings ripped right off. Was diving after a Havoc and completely forgot to cut the engine back. :dunce:

That happens. Can also happen if you try and turn too sharply at very high speed. As the speed builds up so does the drag and it eventually gets to a point the wings can't take.

Yeah, just happened because I wasn't focusing on the speed I was running.

Starting to get more kills consistently now that I'm being more patient with lining up my shots. Russians have a bunch of tier 1 planes though... didn't think it would have taken me this long.

I just done with Holiday tasks for I-301 (today around 2pm or 3pm and M8A1 with 75mm cannon. (around Jan 1 or 2)

Finally had the chance to play in a with a friend. Game is so much different when you can freely communicate with another person.
Agreed, that's the single biggest gamechanger there is. Not so much in Arcade, but it's huge in RB. Covering each other really does offer a huge amount of protection, especially from those pesky head-ons.

I don't have the tanks for that battle.

First 3 flights in the Kittyhawk went horribly. I hope it's just me being unfamiliar with the characteristics of the plane because everything I've heard about it is good. Edit: It also doesn't help that I was constantly put on teams of what seemed like headless chickens.

You're not missing much. It's either play Tigers or get wrecked.

Kittyhawk I've heard it is good.
There is your issue.

It was a pile of junk. So much so that when it was delivered to the British they said it was junk.

I always love piloting something like a zero against it. Unless it dives on me I have the advantage in absolutely everything bar armour but I don't need that.

I'm currently researching the F4F-4 as it is, so the F-3 is a better choice to fly out at the moment. The rest of my available slots are taken up by Kingfishers and Catalinas, not that I'll be flying them at the moment.

I do know that it's too much to ask for a good team. One match had consisted of no less than 3 planes crashing on the runway, with one of them repairing 2 more times and crashing 2 more times yet again. The other consisted of half the team shooting at each other. :banghead:

I had a d-bag in a Lancaster set my Yak-1 on fire with his gunner in a realistic battle. Of course, I was miles away from the base, and the Yak-1 being made out of damn wood burnt up.

I hate not being able to express my anger in the chat sometimes...

I use the PS3 wireless keypad for text chat. Not all the button combos work properly, but the basic letters/numbers work so that's all I need.

Any basic keyboard should work as long as it's wireless or USB.

AP-I bullets are annoying. That is why I try and load MGs with as many of them as I can.

If you have a fuel leak then IAI are the ones that are going to light you up.

Today has not been a good day. 8 Battles played, 1 victory. Most of the time I'm top of the leaderboard and it didn't matter because the rest of the team fell apart.

Today was an awful day. I entered the event and realised when I chose to research the new KI43 III I should have researched the J2M3 Raiden.

Maybe I will fly out the bombers I have in my slots...

P-40E is awful, and the F4F-3 has a paper mache elevator.

Edit: Looked up info on the P-40E, and realized I wasn't using it right. Works much better as a bomber interceptor instead of a dogfighter.

Started to play at lower BR brackets again. So much more fun to unlock stuff at a decent rate, get into games much faster and play with far less try hards 👍

People said that the game isn't at its best when you're flying super props or jets, but I'm finally getting why they're saying that. And I just love, love, love my my P-38G and XP-38G
