I really like it, just not in that particular race.Oh goodie. Willow Springs. One of the tracks I absolutely despise.
I believe that the Historic race is 580pp capped. It's perfect for the Mk1 GT40.So, no suggested PP then? It’s an open regulations week then? Interesting…!
If I'm not mistaking, both Historic Sportscar Masters and Neo-Classic tend to have PP limits. So, no suggested PP then? It’s an open regulations week then? Interesting…!
There is still time for Le Mans, this is only the second One-Make for the Avantime. It's Avan-Time!
Still missed opportunity to have it at Le Mans.
Looks like you parked a toy car next to that Avantime

I play on hard, had a quick go on the Avantime race with a stock car but you lose multiple seconds a lap just on the straights so it didn't seem viable. With the 962 I ran RH as there was no way I'd make it on RM but I also ran max ballast so I could run a lot of downforce with 84% power. If anyone is thinking of using the Escudo it does work well but you'll have to play around with the fuel map because short shifting loses a huge amount of time.Guys, I play in Normal difficulty.
1) Avantime race: is it actually possible to win this race with the car stock ? I couldn't, it seems the AI cars are accelerating faster than me. I eventually won by using RM tires.
2) Willow Springs race. I hate this track. So there is an 800PP restriction on that one. I couldn't win with the cars I usually drive. I eventually won, by doing the following: I used the Porsche 962, but downgraded the engine power to 75% so that it could be below the PP limit. At such low power, I didn't need to refuel or even change tires ! (used RM) so ended up wining with a lead time of almost a minute. I presume that's not how it's meant to be played but... couldn't win otherwise. * edit: ho, I see that FuzziOn above did the same thing.

Nice title. It made me laughThis is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: Hurry Up, We Avantime
There’s likely only two more sets of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges coming in their current form, so the latest suite of events that are available from Friday morning probably constitutes the penultimate offering...
