Lowered the difficulty on the Willow Springs race and vented out my anger on the rabbit AI.
Bolded and circled the important parts. You don't say?

Since i decided that I'll NEVER get the &3#@#& CRB at Ring ( Cursed) i stuck on SPA trying to find with what i can win with lower pp cars ,plus to evaluate their stock performance.
The CRB wasn't the first aspect but i was trying to be as clean as possible.
For example i never " nail " Eau rouge in order to pass ,etc .
Anyway i start with RX500 with SH tyres , took the CRB but was at 520 pp
Follow Stratos on SH a fraction under 500pp no CRB this time
Dino at 490+ pp CRBless
And what beautiful surprise was the Merak !!!!
Excellent handling in stock form with the addition of SM tyres that put her at 486+ pp
And i took the CRB !!!
You should try it .
Of course sometimes depends and at the field , if is only Frankfurter inside with the Ferrari only the chances to win is significant higher.
When Miura ant the Lambos are inside at the front, things are getting difficult to very difficult.
The trip continues....

Loving the no ABS challenge with the older cars that never had ABS. The stock Citroen DS 21 Pallas '70 was up for the challenge at Lago Maggiore.

According to Gemini the Citroen DS 21 Pallas '70 had
Load-Sensitive Braking. It used hydropneumatic suspension to mechanically balance braking power.

Nice set of races for this week! As always trying to pick the not so obvious choices and giving them the chance to stretch their legs! This weeks chosen few:

1) Sunday Cup Classic - Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B ‘38; 479PP on Comfort Soft tires: Love driving this car for the beautiful interior view and it’s awesome Inline-8 sound, also it’s a natural born drifting machine! And surprisingly what I thought would be an easy win ended in a close call with its descendant the Giulia for an entire lap. The 8C is torquey enough to light its tires any chance it can but also is a boat braking wise, but can win easily if you brake early and take your time!

2) Historic Sports Car Masters - DeTomaso Mangusta ‘69; 579PP on Sports Soft tires: I was waiting for the overpowered rabbit and the AI Miura didn’t disappoint, the whole second lap was an intense battle yet in the final lap after Eau Rouge the Miura just threw the race and I won by over 30 seconds. And the Mangusta was pure analog bliss the whole time! Love how it attacks corners, very rewarding if dialed in just right.

3) Special Event - Renault Avantime ‘02; 514PP on Comfort Soft tires: Just went with all weight reductions, Semi-racing exhaust and managed to win easily. This layout is great for medium pp racing and was another quick win.

4) Hypercar Parade - Porsche 918 Spyder ‘13; 799PP on Racing Medium tires: The Other Ring is actually fun and rewarding for technical driving, the field was packed but this time I chose to “screw it I’m going all in” and destroyed the competition by the end of lap two. Then by the beginning of lap six the Valkyrie started eating away my lead and chew almost a forty second lead down to a 17 seconds behind me at the end. Nice try PD!

5) Neo-Classic Competition - Nissan R92CP ‘92; 800PP on Racing Hard tires: Bringing the big guns so I could catch the leaders by lap 7 and won by over 30 seconds in a no-stop race. Still there was bits of drama at the end of lap 9 between the 2, 3 and 4 positions and the Nissan Silhouette being in the middle of the road! Fun race!

My first weekly races on my new PS5, as I had been told it is miles over the PS4 I had been using FF or the past 4 years (GTSport + GT7) still learning how to do things on new console over the old way...
