Delighted with another honda race car jaunt, such a fun drive.
Thank youI made it myself, I'm surprised you like it.
Will share it later after work
Love livery, where can I find?In an alternate reality, "Tsunoda" conquered Suzuka.

I could have really hit 44s if it weren't for the traffic and sudden downpour on Lap 9.

Strategy:
- Fuel Map 1, limit at 8,000 rpm.
- Medium Tires
- Pit at Lap 7, replace a fresh set of Mediums.
- Sudden downpour at Lap 9, pit in and swap in Inters, no refuel.
I used the 908 Fuel map 4, RM tires with a no stop it will be an easy win for you.Fellas, I play in Normal difficulty mode. No problem with the first 4 races, but once again I can't win the WTC 900 without cheating by using the SF19 (same as the Gr1 weekly race at Suzuka 2 weeks ago, and by the way if anyone understands why this type of car is allowed, let me know the logic).
I tried the Porsche 902 and the Peugeot 908. For comparison, in the below table I also put @Fuzzi0n 's GT500 RC F which he can win with in hard difficulty and yet it's a considerably less powerful car (much lower power/weight ratio etc). So basically it seems there's nothing wrong with the cars I'm driving and perhaps I should have a harder look at the driver 😁.
I use the RS tires because... more grip I guess ? but of course they wear faster. Also it seems with these cars I can't void avoid having to refuel.
What else can I do ? ... There's something called TCS which I haven't explored, I just leave it alone.
My strategy for these races is to split in 2: if it has 10 laps, I stop at lap 5, refuel and change tires. Too simple ?...

Not stopping isn't cheating but there's only certain races where it'll work because you need to keep pace with the AI. With the rain it's just how well you deal with it, sometimes you get lucky and the AI is dumb, other times they'll be in a better position than you to pit for tyres. I think if you stick with the 908 and run RM/RM or RS/RS if you can make them last along with turning the downforce up a lot you should be able to do it. Other option is practice a bit more with the Gr.2 cars, the '16 GT500 cars aren't much slower than top end Gr.1 at some tracks, the Audi is also a really good option because it has DRS, you just have to learn to trust the crazy corner speeds they can manage.Ok but both options are cheating right ?... I want to win fair and square like you ! Let me get back on the sim shortly and see my lap time at Suzuka as a starting point with the Peugeot. We'll take it from there.
Awesome account of the events and great pics (and soundtrack 😄). Love the paint job of the Subaru and the RA272!If this is to be the last of this format, then what a blast it was!!
1) Japanese FF Challenge 450 - Honda Civic SiR-II ‘93; 499PP on Sport Hard tires and B18C swapped: Monica approaches, stands at my door and tell me “Feel that? This is yours, even if you loose. But if you win, you know the rest of the quote”. So I was very motivated, got my Usher CD from the visor CD holder and powered up the Kenwoods eXcelons, let’s go: I was up in the club with my homies / Tryna get a lil' V-I / Keep it down on the low-key (Low-key) Poor kid on the Integra never stood a chance, pay up Hector!! YEEESSS, MONICAAAAA!!!

2) American Clubman Cup 700 - Roadster Shop Rampage; 698PP on Sports Soft tires: Absolute beast who refuses to listen to your inputs if you remove its wing!! Very challenging but man so freakin’ rewarding when you steer by throttle and hold the steering wheel firm!! Torque monster even down powered, brutal yet with high limits, if you dare!! Got the lead after the corkscrew at the final lap and another one down. Also looks sinister in black. More please!!

3) World Rally Challenge Gr.B - Subaru WRX Gr.B Rally Car; 652PP on Dirt tires: The Subbie got happy on his environment, almost stock save for brakes and weight reduction; drove beautifully and even got to work in tandem with the rest of the pack!

4) Special Event - Honda RA272 ‘65; 699PP on Racing Soft tires: The second best race, definitely this car was made for this track or viceversa! Sublime flow, flawlessly smooth during the bus stop, no sudden changes in behavior nor sudden loss of traction (even with no TC) and surprisingly tight racing! This should be permanently added with chilly peppers added!

5) WTC 900 - Audi RS5 Turbo DTM ‘19; 889PP on Racing Medium tires: Now this is the main event! First: no rain at all! Second, this was full focused racing, got pitted at the apex of the u turn on lap 2 but recovered quickly. Went FM3 until lap 6 when I pitted for fuel and new RS tires with a 13 second gap behind the leader that increased to 40 seconds afterwards. Started lap 7 full attack mode and got Inostroza on my sights and got the lead by lap 9. Won by just 5 seconds with No. Front. Tires. At all! Best one by a wide margin!!

I'm a bit confused right now, 'cause I don't see any cheating here. If the car has low tire wear and good fuel economy why would you pit if there's no need?Ok but both options are cheating right ?... I want to win fair and square like you ! Let me get back on the sim shortly and see my lap time at Suzuka as a starting point with the Peugeot. We'll take it from there.
On Hard difficulty, the AI clocks in at 1:50 - 1:51. I use that as a benchmark for testing.Had another go at the Suzuka WTC 900 race with some more rear downforce and went a lot faster, fully dry race and won by 30 seconds running RM/RM pitting on lap 5. Fastest lap was a 1:45.6, probably would be a bit faster and have better tyre wear if I was running ABS. Might have to try one of the slower Gr.2 cars and see if I can get it to rain at the right time, seems the only way it's possible to win with those cars unless you tune them.
Not really ! Not everywhere !
Can you share these tune settings?Using the marvellous tune from spa and @CTRL Garage
Very very tired at Friday due to lot ours in my job , i almost about to skip last race for today.
Anyway didn't happens and clear them all without giving a damn about CRB and just wanted to finish them .
Today with a fresh look and after some rest i revisit two of them .
Dirt one 😱 with a stock Subaru rally car and the addition of low rpm turbo and ECU at 70 and power restrictor at 71 ( 525pp ) as i use it in a previous race at Bathurst with Titans .
Surprised that i was able to get CRB and run under control.
Of course i suck at dirt but this one was manageable without being everywhere 🤣
Next race was at Glen ( what else ? ) .
Using the marvellous tune from spa and @CTRL Garage with addition or RM tyres i clear the race without any further power add ons and get the CRB.
Laguna really $ucks in case of rewards for the time you play and I won't bother again unless someone put a gun in my head.
The same applies for Suzuka although i can understand why some people " love " it so much ,but am a bit old for that shirt 😂
Last races till Spec3 and i guess everyone wait for the new update, tracks cars and new format.
Have a good weekend, drink fast and drive responsibly 🥸
The second time i run this ( after LM55) was with a Honda NSX 08 .The only oddball race this week was the WTC900. I used the Toyota GT One.
Tried a one-stopper on RH's. Had to run on FM6 and got smoked. Second try ran on FM1 and RM's, pitting on lap 6. Finished 4th after I ran into the sand once. Third try on FM1 and RM's, pitting on lap 6. I finished 3rd by a tenth after Sternberg ran out of fuel approaching the finish line and he rear-ended the 20th place car.
Haha thanks. I should include in my videos the 97 failed attempts prior. 😀You make it look so smooth and easy ....
