The Hakosuka from the Power Pack is a fun car to run in the GTR race on RH.
I saw some pictures posted above and they definitely look like super fun. Making the old PS4 user a bit jealous ...
The standard engine-swapped Hakosuka is fun too though. :)
I couldn't resist to take two of my dinosaurs to track and see whether they're still competitive. And they are !

My Hakosuka's got a tune for the Historic Sports Car Masters. It runs on SS dialed in at slightly below 580 PP. And this is quite a good level for having close races against Ordonez and Suswillo in their R35 cars.

Now driving the 2J always was and still is really special with some kind of therapeutic effect on me. Yoga-like relaxation, sheer driving pleasure. Wasn't sure whether it can be quick enough against the prototypes and Group C cars at Yas Marina but it's been another easy victory in the end. Went all out, 860 PP, FM1 on RM, refueling after 10 laps.

Why just win the race when you can absolutely steamroll it? The car was capable of a lot more but my driving at nearly midnight let quite a bit to be desired, took a ton of tries and still left probably ten seconds on the table by taking it really easy when passing to not blow the bonus.

Interesting week.

I used the Demon swapped Charger for the American and Ferrari GTO for the European cups.

I actually somewhat liked the Brands Hatch Racing tires madness. It was different. But that was the easiest gold in the history of the franchise I guess.

Deep Forest came down to the wire. Taking the lead on the final hairpin of the last lap in the magnificent 400R.

I was surprised the the 908 was able to do a no stopper on mediums but it worked really well. No CRB due to some missed breaking points but a nice drive.

Fastest lap was a fluke 42. Majority of my laps were 44s with some 43s in between. Tires at the end of the final lap for reference.

Am I the only one who used a Opel Corsa GSI VGT at Yas Marina? With RS & pit every 2 laps. And I won, at least after 2-3 attempts. I also tried an Audi R8 race car, it went terribly bad.

Did the FTO time trial @ Brands Hatch, and I can’t remember if I actually crushed it on my first try or not. At any rate, I’m hoping to tackle the Nissan GT-R Cup round @ Deep Forest next, followed by the newly-added round of the Gr.1 Prototype Series @ Yas Marina. I’m likely gonna use an Nissan GT-R Nismo ‘17 and the Gr.1-spec Hyundai N2025 VGT, respectively.

Unlocked the Weekly Challenges about 4 days ago since I just started playing.
Got to almost everything except the Gr1. 950pp since I need a car I don't have and playing via remote there's enough lag that I can't properly race at a high pace. I hope the next Weeklies are more interesting.

My choices for the week.

First race was the American Sunday Cup in my stock GT350R. I love Road Atlanta, so this was an easy win.

Next was the European Clubman Cup in another one of my favorites, a lightly modified 964 RS. Alsace is almost suited perfectly to the 964’s layout. Another fairly easy win.

Next was the Time Trial in the FTO. Stock road cars on slicks is always horrible. The stock suspension is way too softly sprung to work the Soft slicks even a little bit. I got my gold first try and onto the next race.

That next race was the GT-R Cup at Deep Forest. My chosen chariot was my LM Blue 400R. I put SS tires on my otherwise stock car. I enjoyed this race, Deep Forest has a good rhythm to it.

Last race was the Group 1 race at Yas Marina. I chose the GR010 as I enjoyed it during the Group 1 OTT at Spa. The race itself was fairly easy, but the GR010 likes to spin up the rears when the hybrid boost comes in. I ran a 10RM-5RS with no refueling to win.

Time zone based yes. But don't make the mistake of changing your time zone to Australia just to get it early. Whenever you change your systems time zone weekly challenge rewards are not awarded for that week.
Wow I didn't know that. That sucks. Glad I'm already in Australia. 😎

WTC 900 Le Mans? Time to bring out the big guns. First off, the Audi RS5 Turbo DTM.

Ferrari at Yas Marina? Another perfect lab experimentation session.

I find the Polestar 5 decent to drive, so there's that.

I should be able to finish them all within the day. I have a trip to Tokyo this Sunday.

right now I'm just trying to figure how to change the measurement units in-game. I only got KPH, everything else is stuck on freedom units and I want metric.

"Assetto Fiorano" spec 296 GTB: 699.32 pp, Sport Medium tires. Can definitely break 2 minutes.

The 296 is a pleasure to drive, indeed.
