I drove this again and managed to get a clean lap. Very bad but at least its clean. T1: 17.6 T2: 54.3 and T3: 1´09.2.

COULD SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO TURN THIS DAMN THING!! :lol:

And the engine sound.. I sort of like it. It´s like tearing something aparts.

And BTW, I preordered GT4, date that was listed there, was 30.4..

Holy macarroni!! just when I thought I had a pretty good time, I concluded like "yeah, there should be at least a whole second left on my lap time" and amazingly, I just saw Mr P's sectors and they are out of my imagination:eek:

Btw my sectors are 0'17.481/ 0'50.455/ 1'07.917

I have gotten 17.3's, 50'1's and 1'07.6's as best sectors so far, as I said, a whole sec left:banghead:

I'm probably half your age and have been beeting you out every week for the past two weeks, and I'm a division behind you, so I don't see where you're coming from...

Any chance of a replay video of JUST your T2-T3 sector? I'm losing a bit of time here and it's concerning me - especially since it's only 2 corners.

The TVR doesn't want to turn in to the left-hander, and I have to drop to second to cut the understeer in the right-hander (which has given me about 0.2s back again :D).

No time to do this tonight - I dont feel too good and Ive had to start on an application form for a new job at work. Thats out of the way now I'll do it tomorrow at work so I can have a full night tomorrow on GV.

btw I liked your rhyming slang Famine ! Very........ "english"!!! Now its time for me to go up the apples and pears ! and :drool:

Hmm, ok I havent had a clean lap on a few tries, but I'm managing to get consistent T2's below 50 secs..40.5 has been the best so far, but I really hate that left turn after the T2:banghead: it has screwed up some of my coolest times:mad:
 
Very trick car to drive quickly. VERY[B/] tricky. After about maybe an hour an a half in total of driving today, I've gotten my T3 time down to about 1'07.0xx or 1'08.9xx (I forgot to write down the times :banghead:). And thats on a 99.9% clean lap. The car is very difficult to turn in, especially on banked turns and while braking. And use the rumble strips properly!

Something tells me Mr. P is Michael Schumacher in disguise :lol: Insane times you're posting, especially so early in the competition!
 
Blag ... this car is no fun at all. It'll certainly learn me on throttle control though :D

1:08.4xx (Clean, but my PS2 locked up, for the first time ever, before I could save the replay .... *sigh*)
 
I dare say I am beginning to actually like this speed 12, though not at Grand Valley. But I see why the car/circuit was choosen for this race. If you want to smile take the speed 12 for a few laps around Tokyo and then Monte Carlo....actually a fairly amazing car for both circuits, but you wouldn't get that driving it ONLY at Grand Valley.

I got T3 to 1'09.946

T2 still blows though and I can't seem to string a lap together of 3 solid sectors. I think I nail a sector then am so shocked I blow the next one, regain my composure for the next sector and before I know it the viscious cycle starts again.
 
of course, anyone running the Speed 12 without TCS is a sicko!!!!:D

btw scud, you must have nerves of steel, stay calm during the whole lap;)

Division 2.

And I agree with Scuderia, the car is a lot better behaved on other courses, since Grand Valley is very uneven, and the Speed 12 seems to hate banked turns :lol: I think a good spoiler wouldn't have hurt this car, it desperately needs some downforce...

I ran some more in the tuscan against my best save :(

twice now i have had T2's of 49.1 and T3's of 1.06.1 to lose it with a tiny contact in the last S section :irked:

starting to turn into the search for the holy grail trying to hit my target ... I will try again soon this ***** is gonna do my bidding in the end! .... eventually :D



The key to the Speed 12 is - early braking, good timing and precise lines and no frantic acceleration exiting bends ( find grip before you give it full revs ) but most important of all ....... dont be scared of it! show it who the boss is 👍

30 more laps just now. Running the lap with the controler is over 1.3 secs faster per lap for me over my wheel. Granted I have only had the wheel two weeks and played GT3 for 9 months prior with the controller.....but still. My issue isn't with grip or turn-in anymore...it is braking and letting the car coast. I seem to have more brake/gas "touch" with the controller. Not what I wanted or was expecting. For poops and smiles I went and ran my Imprezza proto in last week's race challenge again and 3 laps in and BAM I cut a full second off my posted time!!!!!

I need more practice with the wheel and left foot braking I guess....

I do dig the speed 12 now. Oh and my time still sucks but I hit the following sector times pretty consistently and consider this pace a "base" pace now.

17.8/51.5/1'09.9

slow but considerably faster than where I started last night.

Just a question about that comment. When I run the challenges I go to arcade mode select the track then the car then race. I save my quickest lap time and then if I go to the replay it doesnt replay the fastest lap - it saves a replay of the whole session !
Does Luxy mean that the replay of the fastest lap has been saved or just the fastest lap time on the records section.

A bit long winded I know !
