This showed up randomly on a page.

Premiums aren't supposed to get ads if I remember correctly but even then, this doesn't look like any of the usual ads on this site. Anyone know what it is?

Glad to see I wasn't the only one that noticed that. Was just about to start a thread but thankfully I saw this before I did 👍

I get this every time I come onto the site, it's even worse if you are viewing on a phone. If you even tap it trying to scroll the page down, it expands and takes longer to scroll down the page.

I got one too, I feel special.

But I don't want to watch Anime...
Anime is awesome. :D

I get them all the time too.. but then I'm not premium ;) They are quite annoying, as they seem to open on mouseover, so if you use a scroll-wheel you end up having to scroll over an advert 3 times longer than the page was... 'tis what it is I guess, but the "Discussion by Sidelines" link that appears at the bottom left hand side of an otherwise centered page irritates my sense of symmetry

You should never see this if you are signed into your account (any account, Premium or otherwise).

I've been getting this kind of ad on the home page. In the forums, I get no ads.

Are you sure? I just checked with my Premium test account; there's no ads shown.

I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. It was in the articles/news stories, not the actual homepage.
And I just figured out it's on my end(after the are you sure nudge). I recently reformatted my PC and I put the link in my most visited bar, before I had actually logged into the site with the new browser.
I should have figured this out by looking at my phone, but I like to watch the vid's on my PC.

Sorry to waste your time Jordan.

Several times in the last couple of hours I've had a full-page-cover advert for an Isuzu pickup. If @Jordan's aware of that then cool... it just seems unusual for GTP.
