What advantages can we get from completing license tests?

Cars, XP, driving skill. Who says money? You can't get money from license testing unless you sell the cars.

So the License do not open tracks? Like they did in the old GT games? I do not pay attention when I took the License. Did licenses as soon as it was allowed. Because I thought I had to take them to play all the races.

Really, if your smart about it, you can gold every one of them and get the cars then use them to do as many events you can with them, which will save you quite a bit of money. That's just at the beginning though.

- Licences in GT5 help you learn some of the most important sections on GT5's tracks;
- Licences in GT5 teach you how to drive faster (you just learn it if you go for anything above bronze);
- Licences in GT5 teach you to drive without TCS and ASM (the licences show you how faster you are without aids, again if you go for anything above bronze);
- Licences in GT5 get you some Exp. to get you started;
- Licences in GT5 get you some cars;

Overall, for me - licences did help, since I golded all 60 I've stopped using assists, I became faster because I apply the things I got taught there.
But bronze times are too easy, so are silvers - so the only way you can actually learn something from licences is if you give 100% while doing them, just do each licence the best you can.

and if you want to get all trophies for GT5 then you will have to get golds....
and i think you wont reach 100% completion even if u have all races done....

1) You get a lot more practice, especially in the most complicated parts of various tracks
2) You get to try out and drive different cars, and win experience.
3) To get the Platinum Trophy, you would need to get all golds.
4) If you are too used to driver aids, this could help to stop you from using them.
5) Some of prize cars that you can win are not available to buy (Nissan GT-R Academy for example)
6) To have "60 Golds" in your signature is ultimate bragging rights.

i recently completed the 60 golds. didn't think i would ever give it a shot, but since i've finally mastered the DFGT i thought i'd give it a shot. 4 days of goofing off got me the 47 golds i didn't get with my DS3.

it's just too bad that i'd bought most of the cars before i won them (i didn't know what the prize cars were). i do like the thought of having a legit GT Academy GT-R, even though the S-Licenses were the first ones i golded. i was really hoping one of the tests would give me a GT Academy 370Z, but it ain't so.

First off, you'll be slightly better off when it comes to racing due to experience. You'll also get more cars this way.

Unlike GT's of old Licences do not unlock new races, unless your driver level increases. Say if your Level 25 and you do the first licence you won't unlock anything apart from the next licence (despite it saying more races are available).
