Speaking of which, I wonder if Super Taikyu would fit into Gr.4? I would imagine that'd be the ideal place for those cars.

The Gr.4 Lancer and WRX, are the closest to the real Super Taikyu racers.

Besides Super Taikyu we also need some SCCA Pro cars from the early-to-mid 2000's, and maybe even current ones.
I think the Saleen Mustang was the closest. We never got the old GTU stuff.
Wait... I think we did get the E46 M3GT(wasn't an SCCA car, plus PD grouped it with DTM for some reason).
Don't know if PD are up for T/A, Formula Mazda, etc.

"Super Taikyu" isn't a single category, it's a multi-class series. They've got a category for FIA GT4 / Group 4 cars, and then there's two other classes that are close in performance, ST-1 is slightly faster, and ST-2 allows AWD but is a fair bit slower, and then even slower classes with under 2 liter engines.

Exactly. But it works, right?

Pretty much like the VLN races that have everything from GT3 to SUVs to family hatchbacks. ;)

IF PD was up to date on SCCA racing (& others), they could base the Gr. 3 Mustang, Camaro, & Challenger on those bodies/rules. With BoP, they could fit in.

Otherwise, I'd want the new Ram TRX. I mean, we have a Ford Raptor & Toyota Tundra already. Also: https://gran-turismo.fandom.com/wiki/Mercury_Cougar_XR-7_'67

Well I looked it up and apparently they run the two slowest classes as a separate race, which makes a lot of sense considering most circuits can't really fit 60+ cars going around at once.

I tried setting up lobbies with the old Muscle Cars for nostalgic NASCAR races. Was tough for some to use the same specs as me.

The RM '69 Camaro, RM '70 Challenger and I still don't know why PD didn't build an RM Mustang Mach 1(they also left out the new Boss 302), were ripe for T/A action.

Maybe they'll surprise us. If not with a series, at least with modifications to allow players to build these type cars.

I really want too see modern vehicles from Supercars and sports varients like, the latest AMG classes, M, and S audis.

Note: if any of the cars I've listed have appeared in any of the GT games I haven't played yet (there are quite a few), DO LET ME KNOW WITHOUT VITRIOL KAY-THANKS.

Ferrari 456M (one of a very few four seater Ferraris)
1956 Edsel Villager
1963 Plymouth Fury
1949 Chevrolet Fleetline
2002 Chrysler Four-Twelve, ~LM
1961 Peugeot 105 Proto (I forget exactly what the model is called)
1992 Renault Espace (NOT THE F1 just the standard van #LMAO)
1987 Honda Civic Racer-X Model One (or whatever they called the prototype)
1960's and 1970's NASCAR Stock Cars from before they underwent heavy changes
To-yo-ta Supra Ice Trial Car (if that wasn't just a damn joke I wanna see it)
2004 Cadillac Sixteen (#LMAO imagine trying to rip around corners in that though)
1988 Lamborghini Countach (good luck getting that one licensed)
2002 Ford Falcon TS50
2002 Vauxhall VX220

The '88 Countach has already appeared in both GT6 and GTS as premium car. In GT5 it was a standard car. The VX220 has already appeared, granted it was standard and not that specific year, but research shows that year is not much different than what we had.

Dodge Charger R/T (1970)
Dodge Charger SRT8 Hellcat
Nissan 370Z
These have already appeared in the series before. ...The Charger Hellcat is in GTS.

Oh that's true,1 the 70' Charger was a standard car in GT 5/6, my mistake. But about the Charger/Challenger Hellcats, I meant the newer versions. I wasn't 100% sure if they're listed as 2019 or 2020 models, so that's why I didn't specify 👍

Edit: I googled and apparently the Charger Hellcat is a 2019 car and the Challenger Hellcat is a 2020.

I see; GT6 and Sport I've yet to play and GT5 I didn't get to play but maybe to five, six percent completion so I wouldn't of known/remembered.
I actually tend to get models and years mixed up; I know that the VX220 was a single year model and meant to imply whatever the model was for 2002. I have the same issue with remembering people; I'll remember names or faces/features, rarely both. :boggled:

I also would love to see the old Mustang BOSS series, if that wasn't already featured.

We did get a Boss 302, but it was the new shape Mustang. I think a 2011 model. The SVT Cobra R and a couple SN95 GTs, were in past games.
Just the Mach 1, Shelby GT350, GT350R and I think we even got the Shelby KR(King of the Road) Mustang, were the only classic Mustangs we got. I definitely would like to see the Boss 302, 429CJ and a couple Fox body Mustangs. Add some classic Falcons too. ;)

Mercedes SSK 1928
Bugatti type 55 1932
Bugatti 57SC Atlantic 1938
Citroën Traction Advant 15 cv 1938
Jaguar xk120 1948
Ferrari 250 LM 1964
Ferrari 275 GTB/4 1966

These are just some of the cars I really want in Gran Turismo 7. I can not write down all because then the post will be very long

If PD wants past present and future in the game, it would make sense to start with the beginning of sports cars.
PD shouldn’t be afraid to bring some veteran brass era vehicles to the game as long as they were the fastest, most hottest cars of their time. In my opinion, it would be a great way for people to rediscover the joys of the cars of that era.
Examples:

1913 Mercer Raceabout
upload_2020-10-25_11-28-13.jpeg

1906 Stanley Vanderbilt Cup
upload_2020-10-25_11-20-35.jpeg

1911 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost ‘1701’
upload_2020-10-25_11-17-13.jpeg

1912 Ford Speedster
upload_2020-10-25_11-14-52.jpeg

1913 Bugatti Type 22
upload_2020-10-25_11-19-4.jpeg

1914 Stutz Bearcat
upload_2020-10-25_11-10-18.jpeg

1910 Benz 21/80 Prinz Heinrich

@Volksauto Good luck getting those licensed for the game though, especially if there's visible car damage involved.
@05XR8 Yeah. Reboots, they never seem to capture the essence of what made the originals the greats they were, even if some come close like that of the reboot of the Ford GT40, the GT, it's just not the same, and likely, it's advancement in tech. to blame. I definitely wanna see the classic kings of the tarmac more than I do the new rippers of the road in racing games like this. That and small cars because I love how people underestimate them, ONLY TO BE SO DEAD WRONG. :mischievous::lol:
