One day in 1989, my best friend and I were at Tower Records in Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, and nothing was appealing to us. As we left, we noticed the Tower Classical store, which was in the same building, but had its own door. So we decided to have a look. Turns out it was where the International section was located. Intrigued, we both bought a couple CDs each, based solely on vibes (not like we had an internet to turn to for samples and recommendations). This was one of my selections.
