And has excellent taste, judging by the number of Stevie Wonder and Gamble & Huff covers in the track selection.

When I was younger I used to compile a weekly soundtrack for my dad's regular visits which tended to be split into hard bop, reggae/calypso, African soukous and jazz organ sections. I'm sure he would've loved Foster.

New Muse album 'The Wow! Signal' launched today so that has been getting plenty of air time for me. But first track The Dark Forest, has a particularly epic sound.
 
More Forza-inspired J-pop, this time from 2012 and Hitomi "Toi" Amano. Like Tacocat she has a palindromic name as "Hitomitoi" means "131".

Plus City Dive producer Cunimondo Takaguchi's 2008 LP, Ryusenkei's Tokyo Sniper. I'm also going to give Kaede's recent Lamp/Uwanosora collab Stardust In Blue (2020) a listen.

One of the Hitomitoi tracks was a cover of the 1981 latin jazz number "Black Moon" by Rajie. I just put an order in with a Tokyo supplier for four of her albums.

J-pop has kind of soured me on modern western pop but this RnB-ish duo from London aren't too bad so far despite my knowing next to nothing about them due to their having virtually zero footprint on Wikipedia, Discogs or YouTube.
