I asked because the old release (1979 I think?) had a longer solo by Jimmy. The newer version released in 2007 had an abrupt cut.

Yeah... that has to be Bonzo's signature song.

Do you like the beat at the intro of When The Levee Breaks? it's damn mind blowing! did you know that the audio engineer of that album (Led Zeppelin IV) placed Bonzo at the bottom of a down-spiral stair well so that the sound of the drums would resonate in the walls creating that thunderous echo? Just, brilliant.

The intro to that is killer , love it !!!

I remember hearing that something was done on that making to get that sound to echo like it does , years ago (lol).
