This song reminds me of just about every talking head on every news program, every psychic that’s ever existed, every single televangelist in the known universe, all the so called ESPN expert analysts, 90% of politicians(democrats and republicans), the people in you tube comment sections(or any comment section), and about 50% of everyone else, that posts anything on the internet.

Goodbye Girl, the third solo release from Bread frontman David Gates, arguably one of the greatest male pop vocalists of all time.

While I thoroughly enjoy the title track "Goodbye Girl", which was also used in the Richard Dreyfus film The Goodbye Girl, as well as "Overnight Sensation" and "Ann", my primary motivation for listening to this album when I do is the song "Lorilee".
