Having studied music composition at the university level and music history dating all the way back to ancient Sumerian Hyms/ Mesoptamian Music, lately I have become fascinated all over again with the oldest music known to man (so old it was chiseled onto stone tablets in some cases). The Epitaph of Seikilos is one example, you can listen to that here: https://allthatsinteresting.com/seikilos-epitaph This is the oldest 'complete' musical composition that has been found to date though there are fragmented pieces that are far older like Hurrian Hymn # 6 (which dates back to 14,000 BC)
