Sunburst Finish, the third studio release (1976) from Be Bop Deluxe--English glam rockers with a progressive rock twist. Bill Nelson belts out fantastical lyrics and wails on guitar, and Andy Clark lends keyboard expertise. The band has been likened (and compared) to Queen.
It's a good, solid 40 minutes of good old fashioned rock and roll, but tracks like "Ships in the Night," Sleep That Burns" and "Crystal Gazing" really stand out for me--the last of which for its proggy goodness.
