But boy have i just discovered an awesome local band that is up and coming... chill jazz almost like Jamiroquai....

This boy has a bright future

He has a nice story too

What a sad coincidence. I had just discovered the band on YouTube a couple weeks ago. I didn't realize they had already died.

Just to get off this sad train of thought, today is the 50th anniversary of Iain Macmillan photographing the Beatles outside the EMI Studios on Abbey Road for the Abbey Road album cover. He was given ten minutes and took six photographs that day. Want to see them all? Here they are.

First time i am hearing about this guy... this song is really good !!
Silver Jews, for me, is all about biting lyrics but Berman's completely unassuming vocals.

Aaaaanyway...

Language warning.

It's got really loud guitars
It's got a blasting cap in the fertilizer
It's got secret anguish of the network stars"

Just finished watching / listening to the Sci-Fi score BBC Proms programme.

If you have access to BBC programming or iPlayer in you country then it’s worth a watch. For me the proms are why I pay a license fee.

While at work I put on a whole bunch of Genesis and Liquid Tension Experiment. Played all of Foxtrot, Nursery Cryme and Invisible Touch, and then both LTE albums. I also threw on Yours Is No Disgrace by Yes.
