Bbc4 had a Jasper Carrott night last week.
The story about his proudest moment being the LA Times reporter flying to San Francisco to see his stand-up routine on recommendation of Robin Williams who had watched Jasper Carrott twice and then meeting Robin in LA the following year was lovely.

Also, Lucy Davis from The Office etc is his daughter.

And Funky Moped sold 840,000 copies! Because this was on the B side...
