This is the high-price leader in my neighborhood. The cheaper stations all follow suit within one or two weeks, so this is what I'll soon be paying:

I just put $20 in my tank today. It was $2.76 per gallon.

Zardoz: I see you replaced the monster in your avatar from a fictional one to a real one.

Quite a bit, compared to what it used to be.

NZ$1.72/litre or something (91 oct.).

Was about NZ$0.99/litre (give or take) a couple of years ago.

How does this compare to US prices?

A little more then Zardoz, they kinda go through $3.20-$3.60 but this is average, you should see it when it goes up. Northern California has damn expensive gas, it's always waay cheaper, every where i go.

At the moment here its £0.99 :scared: per litre that is

reached $1.44 per litre today.

Roughly $4 USD per US gallon.

We went on a small road trip to St. Andrews yesterday and it was 95.9p per litre (£4.35 per gallon/$7.77 USD per gallon (according to Google), and presumably that'll be non-US gallons) for normal unleaded. Still, we were averaging between 38 and 40mpg at motorway speeds (according to the OBC) in a 1.2 Punto Sporting, 4 up. Not bad.

Here, it's 96.9p per litre now at BP, probably 95.9p at Tesco as they're always about 1p cheaper. The highest I've ever seen it is 97.9p, and I see that coming along very soon at this rate...

Dad's car only averages around 19mpg around town, but he isn't complaining much. Yet.

Prices dropped here overnight for whatever reason, it's not 2.89

Just under or over $3.00 in Central Illinois. I've had a half tank all week, though. Glad I have a 4A-LC these days.

2.79, gas has certianly gone down since Bush spoke the other day.

Well driving through downtown (a part of it) Ho-Ho-Kus. Two were at $2.85 (regular), and the Mobil was $2.90.

87 oct-2.92
91 oct-3.21
Unocal 76 in Sacramento.

I saw it for 2.67 today, in the Detroit area alone prices dropped an average of 10 cent in the past week. But since oil went back up I guess this means 3 bucks again.

Still hovering about the $2.99 mark. :irked:

According to 5th Gear gas station owners make hardly any money from selling the actaul fuel. They make most theyre revenue from all the other goods that are associated with a gast station such as chocolate so no need to show anger towards gas station owners.

Going around town yesterday, everybody seemed to be selling at $3.10/gallon or so.

Gas in town is the low low price of $2.75/gal. If only we took out the Middle East when we had the chance.............

price is also going up due to several emerging economies, especially china, and it will remain high.

China has been emerging for years and the price never went up...seriously its just some big conspirecy to screw the working public out of money.

You only need to look at all the stuff china is producing and manufacturing to see where all that oil is going.

Once again when I was 5 and gas was only 89 cents a gallon, China was still making millions of different things...what makes today so special?

^^Look it up, the worlds not all ABC 123.

No it's not, but it's not a new concept for China starting to be developed.

No offence guys, but it seems quite funny you complaining about high petrol prices. Over here, we're paying about $6.70 per gallon for regular unleaded. :nervous:

Once again it's your taxes, you guys really should b***** to your government.

We do, on a regular basis. Still, without all that tax, they wouldn't be able to buy all those life-saving speed cameras.
