I fell asleep when I watched this in the cinema. I'll try and get through it again on Disney+ but I liked the FF movie a lot more than this one. I remember the action scenes were good though.
For sure FF is more enjoyable to me. * is just about everyone are broken and watch them get mended so they can be utilised for the future movies. ;) Giving us a break from doing too much by being more grounded.

Just watched Bad Guys 2 last night with my friend. Probably as good if not better than the first one, a lot of parts caught us off guard

AZM (Red Stars block winner, 2nd in Red Stars B sub-block) v.s Momo Watanabe (Blue Stars winner, 3rd in Blue Stars B)
Stardom 5Star Grand Prix finals, 8/23/2025

(In addition to the 5Star finals being enough of a reason, side storyline going on. Momo and AZM were former stablemates in Queen's Quest, Momo betrayed the stable and defected to Oedo Tai at the tail end of 2021, signs are there that Momo will eventually be betrayed in turn relatively soon)

Pi (1998) Directed by Darren Aronofsky

Brilliant film. Hugely underrated. Hugely misunderstood by the general public. One of Darren Aronofsky's best films.

I haven't seen it but it's on my 1,001 movies list.

And how's this for an odd back to back to back 1998 threesome:

Pi
There's Something About Mary
Saving Private Ryan

That is quite the disparate list there.

I HIGHLY recommend you make time for "Pi". Move it up the list, as it were. It's an incredible film.

Another brilliant film that I watch every few years is the 1990 cult classic "Jacob's Ladder". One of my favourite films of all time. Whatever you do steer clear of the remake from 2019. The writers/director REALLY didn't understand the original film and it REALLY shows. Avoid like the plague.

I got a month's free subscription to Amazon Peime and ime currently coming to the end of Wheel Of Time. Gonna see if can finish all seasons of Foundation on Apple TV with their 7 day trial next. The last great Sci Fi series I watched was The Expanse and I think Foundation my well replace that as my favourite ever sci fi series.

That man looks like Harry Potter. The one in the thumbnail for the video you posted, Wow.

Jacob's Ladder had the creepiest ending. I read Adrian Lyne fought to keep it. I guess he was a fan of Ambrose Bierce's short story An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge (1890).

It's such a hauntingly beautiful ending. It gets me every time. The score is incredible as well.

That's Tim Robbins (of The Shawshank Redemption) in one of his earliest roles. I can see what you mean, though.

Thunderbirds S01E01: Trapped In The Sky.

This is the ITV 50th anniversary Blu-Ray release so I'm not sure whether the recent 60th Anniversary box-set is any better in quality. For a remaster this is more than good enough for me though.

A fab choice 👍;)

I was humming and hawing about the 60th box set but ninety quid is a lot of money for a few shots of puppeteers' hands and a fancy episode guide. They don't even include the two feature films as MGM/UA own the rights. Hopefully @AEKara38 will post a few internal shots of the book when it arrives in December to show the rest of us what we're missing out on.

Just watched Thunderbolts and I loved it.

Maybe it's because I haven't watch any MCU movie since No Way Home but this felt fresh somehow (or maybe I just love more grounded theme). The humor is different, the whole thing didn't feel like the usual MCU movie. The chemistry between the characters seems great too.

Still no intention to watch FF and Doomsday tbh but I think Thunderbolts is great.
