Bait Car on TruTV, it will be over in about 5 minutes, and then I change channels to watch a graphic show I enjoy watching in Spanish, its called "Al Extremo" (literally To the Extreme) on Azteca America (a channel from Mexico - my family has Dish Latino).

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. I'm starting to think it was created by a TV executive on a big acid trip.

The right Rev. W. Awdry wouldn't take too kindly to that!

Plus, Ringo Starr narration rules.

I'm at a hockey game.

Its not TV but hey... I'm watching something.

I'm watching "How I met your mother".

The show itself is pretty good, but there is a fatal flaw. It has, what in my opinion, has to be the worst lead character in a sitcom. Ted. It can be so annoying at times. It seems every episode, Ted is talking about a new girl claiming she's "the one". Really does make me roll my eyes.

The supporting cast make up for this. Particularly Barney and Marshall. I've never been a fan of Alyson Hannigan, but she's okay in this. Although I can't help but be reminded constantly of the fact that I've never found her attractive. I remember years ago, everyone thought she was a babe, but I've never agreed with this.

I would definitely agree with your assessment on Ted. I watch How I Met Your Mother in spite of Ted. Ted has too few moments to overcome his near constant douchery to redeem his character.

I enjoy the entire rest of the cast with Lily taking the tail end of the four. Lily can be quite awesome, but she also has her Ted moments.

The only time I like Ted is when something bad happens to him. For example, when Lily and Marshall slept together for the first time. One of them said "do you want to do it again".

Camera pans up and he's on the top bunk.

But sometimes, he can just be too smug. The supporting cast really do lift the show up though.

I agree.

But the show itself? Meh, I have enjoyed the odd episode, but I won't go out of my way to watch it.
