In my previous post, I forgot to mention that I'm learning manual on a 1991 Ford F-250. It has a 300ci I6, 4 speed manual (with granny 1st gear and overdrive), and I've driven it 3 times. The first time, I was so nervous, and I stalled a bunch of times. I just drove around my neighborhood and got the feel for shifting and starting. I don't really count the second time, because I just drove it for like 5 minutes down the road because he was having problems with the alignment. The 3rd time is when I done my best, though. I drove it about 10-15 miles, in my neighborhood and on the road in front of my neighborhood (55mph limit) and I did really well. I used to accidentally shift from 3rd to O/D instead of 3rd to 4th, but I got it right every time. I stalled it once, 2 minutes before I got home
I have a lot of fun driving it, which is odd considering it's a big truck with 160hp.
