Bought a Lancia Stratos because there was one on Top Gear yesterday. Most worthless car I think I've bought yet lol. Had to slow down going around a corner because an AI car was in the way. Back end spun right around and I ended up going through the whole driving through the pits thing

There's a whole thread dedicated to complaining about the Stratos. Yes it's a difficult car to drive fast but it can be done.

Sark

I think that car is great! The whole point of the Stratos is being incredibly twitchy, unpredictable and a pain to drive. It's funny that I have to drive this car at at least 50% of it's limit in order to avoid spinning out. Then when the A.I catches up on me on the turns because of how slow I'm going, I have to floor it on the straights to catch up. I really love it. It's different.

My only complain would be the cockpit view. It has to be the most awful one so far, and it literally feels like you're resting your chin on the steering wheel. Putting the rally lights at least gives you an idea of where the nose is. Because of this car an many others, PD really has to make the view adjustable.

just bought the Audi S4 B4 in yellow, god is this fun to drive on comfort soft tires! :D
Will buy the Lancia Stratos next, im curious about it now that you talking about that litle thing

Be prepared! Try it with Comfort Soft Tires and you'll know what I'm talking about ;D

I did some painting today. I used the lapis lazuli color on my 20 million credit Jaguar Chromeline...it looks nice and the chrome stripes look really cool.....

Bought the Ruf BTR and the Ferrari 512 BB and drove them in - don't laugh - NA: European Hot Hatches and Festival Italia, respectively.

Since this wasn't going to be a challenge, I switched off ABS, my only driving aid, changed from Bumper view to cockpit, switched off all screen information and just drove.

Bloody hell, what a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who ever suggested that, I would not have believed it.

Now let's start this career again...

I bought the Lamborghini Diablo GT2, Countatch 25th, Toyota Supra, Monstersport SX4 BM, Viper GTS '13', and GTR '12'. Got board :)

Bought the Audi Quattro '82

I need to start posting pics as i have a bunch already

Today I thought I'd go for the 100 car trophy. So I purchased quite a few of the cheaper non-race Scoobys (Impreza) which I then made sure had gold rims and painted in WR Blue Micra. I also finished off my 'Vette collection by getting the non-race models and painting them in the various (in period) yellows. And as there's no Ferrari 308/328, I comprimised by getting a 512BB and a 288 GTO.

I bought another Aventador and completely tuned it and added aero parts.......the matte black color just makes the car look awesome.

Nismo GT-R GT3, haven't taken it for a spin yet though.

The car will be racing at the Bathurst 12 hour next month so interested to see how the lap times compare

Lola/Ford GT40 "Road car"
2.3 million but it is a nice old lump.
Also it is playful, a lot of weight at the back which give you a lot of extra grip in fast corners... but when the tyres give up on you the back end goes walkabout on you. or me this was the flat out turn 8 Sweeper at Willow Springs... a good lap turned into a test run for the old Paris-Dakkar. Very frugal on its fuel and despite what I said pretty gentle on the tyres.

Not sure how long it will take to pay for itself. (You can test drive this in the final Licence mission races - a lap of the nurburgring. only 4 gears, and it has problems getting started from a stand still in first. (May be a real issue on a grip with an Uphill starting grid... Ah but you get rolling starts. It also seems to take an age in pitstops just to change tyres.

You can paint it... but you get door sill stripes that contrast to your paint... Crimson Starmist (TVR) will get you minimal contrast (Grey sills) - I used Flip Lop Yellow and had dark door stripes.

Good easy car to chuck about. Only 4 gears but a chunky powerband. No wheelspin issues And it also has 50/100 Aero down force for free.

Daihatsu Midget.

The game description said it had motorcycle like agility. I drove it around the Nurb', it reacts like a motorcycle would in a crash.

Should rename it Daihatsu Rollover.

Fairlady Z33 TT
Ferrari 512BB
M3 coupe '07
Skyline HT 2000RS-X '84
RX-7 Type A '02
BTR '86

And im looking at the Aston Martin dealership... :nervous:

Over the last couple of days I have bought:

Bugatti Veyron '13
BMW 507
Chapparral 2J
Toyota Camry M&Ms NASCAR '13
Audi R8 LMS Ultra '12 (Team Phoenix)
Lancia Stratos '73.

-Peugeot RCZ. Definitely not a good handling car. Drives as odd as it looks. Sold it.

-Nissan Fairlady Z (Z32)
. This car never looks old for some reason. I can't believe it's actually 25 years old!

I brought my GT-R TC back from GT5 to do battle in 650 PP races, only for it to have its rather large ass beat by a car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans nearly 20 years ago. :grumpy:

Bought the Lamborghini Countach LP400. Liked it so much that I decided I'd buy the 25th anniversary one as well.
Love them both stock, just as they are. :)
