What did you do in FH6 today?

You really have to take a look at other auctions of your cars and adjust your prices accordingly. If you set your starting bids above the buy-out prices of the cheapest auctions, you'll never sell a car. For example, the people can insta-buy a Pagani or a Maserati well below 1,000,000 most of the time, so who do you expect to bid on these?

I looked at all the auctions for each car and set what I thought were average prices, not the very cheapest ones. It looked like some people were bidding more than the ones I set but maybe I read it wrong. I'll try again when they come back and pay more attention to the PI level of the cars this time. That's great but I don't want to become an Auction House specialist. It's not what I bought the game for. If I have to go to that much trouble just to get 200,000 credits I'd rather spend the time playing Stunt Party instead. I'm just going to gift the cars instead and let someone else use them to make big bucks because I'd rather spend the time driving than watching screens. Every time I've set a low starting price I only end up getting one or two bids.

In my experience, many people don't want to waste time on silly bidding wars—especially not the ridiculous way they’ve always been implemented in FH—but prefer to use the Buy It Now option. Accordingly, when I’m selling a car, I simply find the lowest current Buy It Now price, undercut it, and set the auction duration to one hour. That way, the car almost always sells, and with minimal time and effort.

If your concern is just selling them, take a peek at the lowest buyout for the car and undercut the market. These sold in a few minutes today by doing that. They each had many listed at 2m but nothing lower. I thought they would still be unsellable but things change.

Got a spare 2019 Corvette in a wheelspin and put it in the Auction House for the minimum. It sold for over 19M credits. That must have been one heck of a bidding war.

I hadn’t really done much with the Mitsubishi Minicab Time Attack, so I maxed it out to full D Class and took it to the Edamame Circuit. I didn’t set the leaderboard on fire, but I had a lot of fun shaving wafer-thin slices off my times with each succeeding lap. That baby truck is a hoot.

Took the Stratos out to do as many custom race events as I can. It excels at Dirt and Cross Country but I want to see whether it's competitive against the Classic Rally cars in Road, Street and Touge as well.

I didn't really have any perceptions of what the new Alfa Romeo was, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It's stunning, to look at and to listen to.

Did the playlist. Really loving the new Alfa 33/2. Last night I was watching Zootopia 2 and saw this pink box truck and thought I should have a go at making the livery. It’s not exact, but it’s good enough that anyone who’s seen the movie will get the gag.

I finished off the last Autumn daily point before heading to the office in the morning, then drove the new Alfa around this afternoon with the livery by @Populuxe . Now we'll see what seasonally seasonals I can finish this evening.

I finished most of the new playlist today and got my reward cars. With considerable good luck in the AH I managed to end the night with 101 million credits despite buying a good number of duplicate cars to keep today too. I have one more spare car that I didn’t get around to listing in the AH that should be able to give me another 17 million credits tomorrow. I’ll probably buy another CLK GTR and perhaps a second M2 FE so I won’t have that many credits for very long.

I decided it’s time to bite the bullet and start playing Horizon Play events. I’m at level 16 of 25. I just have to accept that there are people out there whose egos are too fragile to accept getting passed, so I just have to

I did more Horizon Play racing today. I’m now up to level 20. I also spent some time on a livery for the ‘74 Celica.

I hit level 25 in Playground Games. I got the badge for participating in every type of game. There are many more locked game badges. I’m going to chip away at that mountain bit by bit.

I’m continuing to experiment with fade vinyls. I had the idea to add a definite edge to the fade by laying an opaque vinyl over it, and I like how it tuned out.

Recreated the Celica TRD Sports M trim level as best I could. Slightly different front bumper and wheels, but it has the decals at least. Got inspiration from running GT4 and seeing what cars could be recreated.

I got tired of waiting for the last wheelspin-exclusive car I needed, the Venom GT. So I ground out 999 skill points and then bought 47 Fursties which I farmed for their super wheelspins. I got the car on the very first spin.

Horizon Life connection has been bad through the morning. I still got the points to earn both the Celi 74 and the seasonal Honda N600.

Other than doing today’s daily, I finished installing bodykits on all the cars that have them available. I spent a little time on the ‘73 Porsche 911 Carrera. I wanted it to be a little more Pacific Northwest-y, so I gave it this green-on-green color scheme and put a Pride and Doug flag in the side windows.

Not a lot today. I tried to do the daily but it’s bugged. Forza said they’re looking into it about ten hours ago. I just tried it again, but no luck. Other than that, I spent some time in my 2004 Porsche 911 GT3 just cruising around. It’s a very enjoyable car.

I did the weekly playlist. Now that I have all the wheelspin-exclusive cars, I’ve switched from selling or auctioning my duplicates to gifting them to new players. Even the Dart Hemi.

I was out and about in my S-Cargo FE and paused the game for about ten minutes. When I came back to the game, all these cars were lined up, not moving. The weird thing is they all moved past me before they stopped.

Okay, that’s wild. I found it pretty easy. I made the time in my B526 2010 Golf R, but then again, I didn’t have to contend with a track displaced ten feet horizontally and two feet vertically.

It was the Colin car for me. Old faithful. Unlike yourself, however, I didn't possess the discipline to keep it stock.
