What did you do in GT7 today?

Hmmmm, let's see. It's a little fuzzy because of the double oak bourbon I drank....

Went back to The Glen, this time with a Pontiac Trans Am. After a few tweaks (I'm no tuner) and couldn't find a tune for the Trans Am, took 1st in 2 of 3 events. Then I went out and grabbed a proper Trans Am livery (IYKYK).

Went to Brand Central grabbed the Gr3 Porsche, went to Daytona and still coming in between 10th and 14th. I like the challenge with trying to find the right car and the right set up. Plus I just love running the Daytona track.

Finally, started the CE at La Man. Bronzed through 4 sectors before the bourbon really hit and I had to turn off the PS5... Hahahaha!!

Having an absolute blast with GT7!

Finally beat the 30 min Sarthe 700 after a number of missteps. Used my Supra GT500 and got lucky since it didn't rain at all even though it was dark the entire race. Took a chance, pitted after 3 laps RH/Fuel 1, and stuck w/the RH's moving FM 6 which led to an 8 sec win. Got the Bonus and a useless exhaust as my 4-Star reward.

I'm trying a Gr.4 tune for the C7 Corvette and the 2016 Shelby GT350 at the moment. If satisfied then will recreate my GT4 IMSA livery on them too, and have an all american musclecar custom race on the Glen. Lots of potential fun in my imaginary future championship race :D.

After that, will do another Hyundai GT4 and just keep doing liveries. I've discovered I like creating them more than I've thought possible!

Did this today. Did some laps at Watkins Glen, and as I’m driving round the track think “this is the probably the best track on the game“, I decided to try it out in cockpit view. Genuinely a great experience. Not a huge fan of cockpit view but this felt good driving this track. If you get chance give it a go for a lap or two.

Also feel free to criticise my driving 😀

Yeah I haven't played on Watkins Glen before and it became an instant favourite.

Wasted a million on that Porsche VGT because my BMW wasn't cutting it. Won the Deep Valley race easily, but can't see me driving it again; fast isn't necessarily fun.

Did a couple of laps in the Escudo to push me over the daily mileage and won a Nitrous System for the GT by Citroen Gr.4. I only have the Gr.3 version (and only because I won it). Couldn't have gifted me the Gr.3 Jag that was also on the wheel, could it?!

Can't really see much else to do, but have noticed that ACC has got 60% off on the PSN Weekend Offers. Maybe that's worth a punt to tide me over until they chuck us another morsel of content next month.

On the Plus account, I did the 4 short, non-drift missions from The Sun Also Rises where the car is provided. The 4-star marathon Wheel of Despair gave me a worse-than-worthless semi-racing muffler.

I spent the day in the garage to sort all my engines and car parts out. Looks quite nice now.

Did my daily marathon by doing the Glen events and circuit experience. Then did the 1hr BAC Mono mission. What a pain in the ass that thing is to drive. Literally will never drive it again.

Also did the Autopolis, Nurburg GP and Sardegna A circuit experiences to get the mad cash. In between all of those got my ticket stash like everyone else. Have minimum 5 of every engine and probably 150 in total. Going to make some interesting combos once things settle down and I get all the cars. Bought the Jag XJ13 to get the trophy and finish my day.

I was grinding away at the Escudo online time trial, did an ok time of 1:47 something, but just gotta chug on more and get used to it again since the old days.

Bought a lovely NSX-R '92 to complete the Type R VTEC book in extra menus as me being a honda fanboy thats one i attacked first.

I also noticed in replay mode a new animation for the camera spin that wasn't evident prior to this 1.17 patch. The camera smoothly animates now instead of cutting to the rear, front or side angles. A nice little feature that makes the game run oh so much smoother. :D

Me I fitted a widebody kit to a BMW M3 and giggled like a adolescent boy would on getting a glimpse of his first pair of lovely jubblies in the flesh on a girl he fancied .

The Animation is without a doubt the funniest thing I have ever seen in GT , like since I started playing 25 years ago .

You ?
Farmed the engine glitch, now I have every combination of engine & car swap currently available in the game. Now I've just got to tune them. I bought new cars where available and bought new chassis for the used cars to start.
So not only do I have every car in the game in stock condition, but also these insane car & engine combinations too!

Thought I'd put them into cars asap in case PD tries to backtrack the issue, though after all the past and current bugs/glitches, it's about time there was one that benefited us.

I bought an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, added some power and took it to Watkins Glen. I bought a BMW M4, added some visual mods and took it to Watkins Glen. I completed the World Touring Car 800 race on Watkins Glen in the Mercedes CLK-LM, drove the Shelby Cobra at Watkins Glen, tuned my M4 a bit more then took it to the Nurburgring GP track. At this point I'll drive everything on Watkins Glen because it's just that good.

Did the Manu cup for McLaren, qualified on Mediums because I forgot to buy softs and started in P9. The race went pretty well and ended at P4. Then banged my head against the wall that is the Alsace circuit experience sector 3 for 40 mins :banghead: I dunno what I am doing wrong but am still 0.5s away from the gold.

Managed to finish with 39 laps in 1h deep forest human comedy, for a long time there was only 38 and I thought "why didnt anyone do this yet?" but as it happened, there already are a few by now :D

4 star ticket.

-2000cr
-5000cr
-1,000,000 gold bars
-Huracan GT4
-Audi R8 LMS

Roulette stops at 1,000,000 gold bars. Dodged 2 bullets there.

I had so many engines now that I stop doing order 3 and just redoing order 1. There was one roulette where there are 5 GR4 cars to choose from and it gave me the one I didn’t had. 🤣

Grinded café for 2 hours will continue..
Got a few nice cars tunes i didn't know existed and lots of the worst reward on the wheel of evil trolling.

And when I'm done grinding I will buy the least micro transaction package and buy a car to make it a bit more complex for PD to roll back my stuff..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Still writing, my natural habitat for now. But I also installed an update, did a race a dozen times or so, and did... a couple of other things.

Done a couple of races at Tokyo Expressway in Escudo for some cash, won both, can just chill driving the escudo no pressure :) , had a grind at Le Mans too , didn't see one bit of rain cloud on the radar, Was a lovely day :) Best feature about the game, different weather everytime :) unless it's fixed like tokyo.
