Porsche 914, dream to own one of these one day, having one with some proper power would be pure bliss, and the ultimate autocross car.

Very difficult to say... most of the good cars that have been discontinued have been replaced by something better. And even if this better one has been discontinued, it was replaced by something better-er.

I'd give my vote to a formula not repeated. I wish they'd build a new VW Beetle or Fiat500. No, not the "New Beetle" or the current 500, but a new, rear-engined economy car that's stylish and good to drive. No swing-axles, please.

Toyota Supra
Ferrari F355 (just for the 5 valves per cylinder)
RUF CTR Yellowbird
Mclaren F1
Honda NSX Type-R (not the new hybrid)
Delorean

First car that came to mind was a Ford Capri.

Any Ford with the Cosworth badge on it, don't get me wrong the RS Focus is pretty sweet but the Escort and the Sierra Cosworth are legendary.

A Focus Cosworth and a Mondeo one would be pretty special :)
With RWD or 4WD.

This, provided that you're talking about the Giulia GT and GTV:

Not that I don't like the 1990s FWD ones (because I do - they look amazing), but a light, rear-drive, 2+2, beautifully-styled coupe with a small, revvy engine under the bonnet? Pretty much my dream car...

Okay, so here's a question.

Do you think that the current Alfa Romeo would be able to pull it off correctly?

I would love if the

porsche 944
lamborghini diablo
maserati biturbo
ford crown victoria
bugatti type 35
toyota MR2

were all remade.

In engineering terms, yes. In styling terms, no - I don't think their current styling team and styling direction would put out anything that pretty. I'd be tempted to get Pininfarina, Bertone, Zagato, Giugiaro or one of those houses in to style a Giulia GT replacement. Ever since Alfa brought out the 8C they've been obsessed with giving everything a really beaky, surprised front end. And it just isn't pretty to my eyes.

Since Alfa has said its next open-top sports car is sharing a platform with the next Mazda MX-5, that'd be the perfect chance to stretch the platform a little and stick a roof on it. Give it some proper styling and you'd have a proper Italian rival to the BRZ/86/FRS.

Delta Intergrale. (or just Lancia going back to making sports cars, not rebadged rubbish)

I would love to see an S16 Sivlia. Really, it'd be interesting to see how GT86 competitor made by Nissan would compare to the little Toyota.

Speaking about Toyota, a new Supra (JZA90?) would be a nice addition to their line up. It could be introduced as a competitor to Nissan's 370Z. That would probably be more in line with the last Supra's spirit than making it a new super car, I'd think. Also, while I'm at it, a new MR2 (SW40) would be lovely, but given that the GT86 would be competing for a similar market, that's not gonna happen, definitely.

Next, something European: A new Delta Integrale and a properly done new Stratos. God, I'd love to see what they'd look like...

That would be the few cars that I'd care about the most, I guess.

That reminds me, the AMC AMX/3 would be nice too.

As would a new Mercedes C111, perhaps a hybrid or alt fuel car.

... Really? No one wants to see the revitalized General Motors remake the Buick GNX in the form of a sport coupe based on the midsize Regal platform or the Cadillac CTS-V? Or the Chevelle even? :grumpy:

I'd like to see Honda introduce a replacement for the S2000 or a competitor car to the FR-S/86GT/BRZ. A Civic Si is not a competitor for that car at all. As well a reintroduction of the Integra/RSX into Acura's lineup. Furthermore a Si CR-Z has been spoke of but as of yet has not been seen.

I was trying to be all encompassing, without being too specific. I just want a small Alfa mini-GT coupe, preferably RWD and sharing nothing with the pig that we call Brera. Something cheaper and more livable than the 4C but also with a roof and 4 seats. Perhaps sharing a platform with a new RWD FIAT Dino/Coupe sports car. One can only hope.

I want more small, light, RWD sports coupe and mini-GTs on the market. I'd welcome any entry in this market, but perhaps preferably Nissan and the FIAT Group.

Dodge Neon ACR, especially in Nitro Yellow Green. Ya the Dart is sort of a modern incarnation of the Neon but it's not really the same. It's not longer youthful, but rather a little fat around the belt line from one to many friend chicken dinners.

Dodge Omni GLH, because you know Dodge did have a sense of humor at one time. Plus there's not enough turbocharged hatchbacks in the world.

There is a Mugen CR-Z, it is supercharged. As for car I'd like to see comeback? The Pontiac Fiero, though it'd have to be badged as a Chevrolet, because Pontiac doesn't exist anymore. That car looks sexy still.

I used to really want one of those, I just never found one in good shape.

Also how crazy is this, I'm from Chatham and earlier I saw someone on here from Guelph. Small world eh?

Hmmm...
-Vectors
-Series 1 250 GTO's
-289 or 427 Cobras
-Ye old GT40
-F40
-Muira
-Bascially any pre-1980 Ferrari and Lamborghini

Silvia-Problem is, they already have the Z car, and making something to compete with the GT-86 wouldn't really fit into the Silvias DNA.

I think it would work since they had the Fairlady 300ZX out at the same time as the Silvia.
A cheap lightweight RWD 4 seater with a 250hp 4 banger would fit in nicely .

Pontiac Fiero
Toyota Supra
Mitsubishi 3000GT
Nissan 300ZX
Toyota MR2
Pontiac Firebird. Its still better than the Camero

They already make a front-engined Porsche.

It's called the Panamera.
