What do you prefer the 12c or 458

Between the 2, the 458.. But honestly I'd rather drive the 599..

12c. Especially in its upcoming spider form.

The 458 is a showy clown car but I want subtle performance. The Ferrari would be like the flame drawing in the moths, the 12c may not be as beautiful but it isn't exactly a ssangyong.

...I have no idea what this guy is saying...

Ive had a look in each and it's hard to decide. I always thought 458 but after seeing the macca in the flesh I'm not so sure! There's a lot more 458's here. My mate has recently got an MP4 and I can't wait for a shot!

This shouldn't be in GT5 Q/A it should be in The Rumble Strip!

Everyone else says 458 but I just seem to prefer the MP4-12C. Even if it is impossible to drive in this game with TCS off it just seems to be such a good car overall. I never really caught on with the 458 to be honest, I just really like the look of the nose and that's it.

I prefer the 458.

There's something funny about the MP4 handling, or the way peak turbo power comes on or something. It feels a bit old skool like an XJ220 at its limit i think.

The 458 is pretty hard to beat.

To be honest i would rather have the MP4-12c. I know that i'm going to make enemies on this however a comparison is in order. both the Ferrari and The MP4-12c both have 7 gear transmisson. both of them stock have roughly the same horsepower. (I think don't quote me on that) however on the track the Mclaren had a better top speed than the 458, however the 458 left it in the dust because of the acceleration. (Or maybe because my brother was driving the Mclaren and i was driving the 458 idk) However after putting the parts into them and the oil changes, the MP4 has 100 HP more than the Ferrari. however the acceleration is faster than stock obivously for the mp4, however the ferrari is much quicker of the line than i thought. Controlalbllity is another factor. from a standing start and full throttle and traction control off, the ferrari is very wild off of the line and the back end kicks out. the
Mclaren also does kicks, however doesn't feel like i'm trying to wresle a angry bull, it is more controlable than the ferrari and outruns it most of the time. so in conclustion the Car i would rather drive would be the Mclaren MP4-12c.
sorry this took so long to write.

however...

458 is beast.

I don't like McLaren but after watching a documentary about how they are produced, I thought I'd buy one in GT5.... which I highly regret.

Oh dear lord. Your prejudices are due to tv and a ps3? Try it in reality. That'll sort it.

Excuse me? Re read what I wrote... I didn't hold an opinion on it. Then saw it on TV which encouraged me to try one on GT5. After driving it there, I decided it's not for me.... and I'm not the top gear fan here...

Ok. Correction. Your basing the not for me-ness of it on a ps3 game?

And the fact that I don't like it's principle, I don't like it's looks, I don't like McLaren, and I think it's underwhelming.

And it's you're*

I like its subtlety, that's just me. I don't like brash. I like the f1 and was kind of disappointed that it wasn't a true successor to the f1. And they've gone down the same route as Ferrari, f1 tech for the road. And I doubt any supercar would be underwhelming.

Damn my autocorrect*

And I doubt any supercar would be underwhelming

When I see most supercars on the road or track, I always remember something positive but having seen a 12C (the same one) in both of these places, all I remember are negative... an engineered exhaust note, sticking out in my memory right now. It's rare that a car like that can disappoint me but somehow this one managed it, even though I have never seen a McLaren F1 in person. I don't particularly like it. Unlucky McLaren...
