OK, I put it here since there's no forum for GT6. Here's what I want:
More cars (including unusual cars like Model T, Nike, Smart, etc)
****NEW MANUFACTURERS****:
Porsche, Venturi, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Jeep, Hummer, Cadillac, Bentley, Saab, Smart, Lada, Laraki+everything from GT4. I don't care if it's standard, premium or whatever I just want the damn cars.
Majority of prize cars ***NOT*** purchasable.
More F1 cars.
Real race karts.
Motorbikes.
****MORE TRACKS****
Spa, Gotland, Piazza, Pikes Peak, Special Stages at DAYTIME, Eiger Norwand FULL, a few other tracks+everything from previous games (or GT4 at least).
B-Spec only required for 1 championship instead of half the game. (I'D RATHER HAVE 1/2 THE GAME DEVOTED TO NASCAR RACING ON OVALS THAN NO RACING AT ALL).
****CAREER MODE AT LEAST AS LARGE AS GT4 WITH AT LEAST 16 ENDUROS**** including:
Real F1 championship & endurance
Daytona enduro
Rally enduro
Kei enduro (muahahahaha)
Electric car championship
Pre-1900 car championship
Nike championship
Stealth car championship
Indianapolis CAR championship
Tourist trophy (with actual motorbikes) championship&enduro
+more
More than 60 license tests.
****LICENSES ACTUALLY REQUIRED FOR RACES****
Machine tests
Drift trials in GT mode (a bit NFSish but still adds to the game)
More course maker options
More 24-hr enduros
Enduro championships.
Prize car carousel
The ability to win prize cars multiple times.
More:
Drag racing
Prize cars for trophies

Why, dare I ask, would you want that? Not forcing that nonsense on the player's lap is one of the more notable things that GT5 does better than any of its predecessors.
Y'know, actually have a USE for them. Also, I just find it better than the whole A-Spec level thing (which is IMO more suitable for getting prize cars when reaching specific levels).

There is a use for them: Teaching beginning players how to play the game. And that is the only thing they ever should have used in the series for.

Well, why call them licenses then instead of just "tutorials"? BTW I just find it appropriate for GT to divide races based on licenses.

B and A were completely unnecessary. I just wish I knew it was level based and not licensed based before I had to endure the insane load times for 12 seconds of driving.

PS. I hope this post actually makes it through... ive posted a few times now and nothing is showing up

EDIT: Sweet!

before thinkin of gt6 i would like to have a ''I LIKE'' button in this forum for each thread or reply....!!!

Because this is a driving game. Just like in military games they call the tutorial "boot camp" or something similar.

I don't care what is "appropriate" for the series. I care about makes the series better.
And considering the game levels you up based on how well you do in the licence tests as you complete them (and therefore you can unlock races early if you complete the licence tests, exactly like the system in the past worked); the only practical difference is that the system we have now allows the player to forgo the licence tests if they don't want to take them and instead focus on actually playing the game, and the system you are advocating forces the player to do them whether they want to or not.

lol wut? You'll still get the rest of the game which will be bike-less.

yeah but there would be events that would require you to ride bikes (probably), which means if you want 100% and all trophies, you would be forced to ride bikes.
Besides GT is and always has been a car game, why change that?! I just don't see the point, if you want bikes, play TT or ask PD to make a TT2...

Well, karts aren't exactly cars either. And what's wrong with one or two events with bikes? Also, the license tests might be annoying but rewarding (particularly getting all golds) which is why I like them to be mandatory as well.
Also GT1-4 requires licenses for races.

a big parkinglot for online meetings
rewards for winning/racing online
changeble brakes
buyable colors
more premium cars
redoable events/races
seat cordoba '01 cupr&
drag racing
top fuel drag racing etc..

Well lets call karts for Car-like then. its still the same basics - speeder, brake, steeringwheel etc.
And there is nothing wrong with bikes, they just don't interest me one single bit, I know nothing about them, and have no desire too.
And i don't wanna race them, especially not in GT.

I'm not yet playing GT5 and you guys are talking about GT6. Yikes!!

I'd like the return of all the tracks previously in the GT Series. Specially El Capitan, Super Special Stage R11, Red Rock Valley, Midfield Raceway, Apricot Hill.

I don't care about F1 championship, that aint gonna happen because of the greedy man who controls F1 won't give PD the licence to another software/videogame designer as the license is already in Codemaster's hands.

No bikes.

Some people have complained that GT5 is like a GT4 HD or v.2.0.
I disliked the fact that around 15 tracks/variations are not available in GT5 anymore (from GT4) and it's a real bummer

What happened to El Capitan, didn't on a trailer show an Enzo driving around that track? Is PD teasing us and mocking then when we get the final product that we had high expectations?

Porsche
A lot of real world circuit
Weather + Time transition on all of them
No standard cars (All premiums)
No low res textures (if it comes out on PS4)
And I'd like them to go a bit further with the sounds.

I want a career mode which keeps you motivated (GT5 feels like the same old in many ways) and a smaller focus area so Nascar, rally and karting aren't just added to create quantity. More premium cars with an equal visual standard and no standard cars. Finally, I want better looking trees and shadows on all tracks. I don't think that's too much to ask as GT5 already is awesome in many ways but it lacks a balance in quality.

Although I agree with you 100% more F1 cars woud be difficult along with F1 world championship as forst of all they need permission from Bernie eccleston which Polyphony struggled to get for other cars and Codemasters hold the right to the F1 series

@ MeechShrykull:

Pre-1900 car championship sounds boring as hell.

Also, with everything you want, GT6 would be out in 2050.

GT5 just came out. Aren't you rushing things a bit?

Yes, I agree with the OP with his list.

I want GT6 to be BIG! Lots, lots of championships, races and licenses. Full range of premium cars. Better graphics (no jagged shadows!!!! ) , better damage system, etc. Beyond the perfection!

I want trees and shadows to look nice. I know the console got limited capabilities... but just try your best, Polyphony Digital.

Only Premium cars, 300 or 400 would be ok.
If PD is able to track stats from GT5 i think they are going to see that must of the users arent going to bought the 1000+ cars. Maybe they can see even what are the most bought and Premium those cars !

A good work on the loading time, because this is really annoyng, i dont care to have to install a 10giga or more.

Porsche !! Or RUF Premium, or both :p

Sound, like car crash, and other "little" stuff like that need to be complety remake.

A more polished game, tech wise, no GT4 HD and premium, and low rez tech.

Less crasy price for the car, 4 mill credits is crazy :/
We cant all play the game 5h a day to get this kind of credit ! Again for this, they should track player usage of the game online.

I really like to see GT6 on the PS3, but its going to take time, and maybe if they do it on the PS3 in years, the PS4 is going to be just around the corner.
So maybe do a release on both PS3/PS4 with better tech for the PS4 like crasy anti aliasing and full 1080p.

But first they should take some good vacation ;)
