Gas operated turbines? I read that a team of men made a 3kg turbine that produced over 60hp. The only real problem with them is that they have a delayed power delivery, still it's a small price to pay when you can run on alcohol and rev at tens of thousands of rpm.

Being mega thirsty and desperate for a pee at the same time! Grrr... evolution fail! :grumpy:

Got your self a Bear Grylls situation going on there.

Ahah don't worry it's easy solution. Just go outside and find a snake, kill the snake and cut its head off. Than skin the snake perfectly so you create a snake skin bottle and pee into it. Just tie the end where the head was to keep it from spilling and when ever you get thirsty simply untie it and have yourself a nice refreshing drink.

When relatives fight over who's going to pay the bill at restaurants... makes me not want to go anymore.

You mean, fighting to not pay? Understandable.

Or is it fighting to pay? Cause if that's the case, they are crazy.

Good luck man, I managed to pass my theory first time, it's a piece of piss. All it is, is just common sense.

While I managed to pass my theory test the first time, the hazard perception test was an absolute joke. I wasn't sure whether you had to click to identify a hazard as soon as it flashed up on screen or wait until it was relatively close. Put it this way, I noticed another car driving very slowly from side to side at the end of the road. My thoughts were "should I click now, or should I wait until it's closer".

Didn't want to fail based on crappy programming. I decided to click as soon as I saw anything possibly hazardous, but the whole time I was worried that I clicked before the pre programmed window. Luckily the programming was fine and I aced it, but it would have been infuriating if I failed based on the hazard perception alone.

That reminds me of a particular relative that fights with waiters over the stupidest things occasionally. You never know when it will happen, but it does eventually. All that's left is to do is facepalm and endure the shame.

The fact that Sony is delaying our GT5 DLC for 7 days. I already payed for a PSN card. Now it's just sitting there, taunting me.

Yeah the hazard perception was a complete 🤬 to me... Failed it by 3 marks after them hooking me out of 15 claiming that I was clicking in a pattern... I was just clicking for stuff I thought looked like it might become a hazard. 30 quid down the drain right there... Blatantly just make it up to cream people out of money. :irked:

:p Oral presantations makes me nervous as hell...then if I feel the need to poo...
Another thing: the GTP' GT5 forum. No fun now, only complainer (some wih reason, some stupid as my neighbour's ****ing dog) and always the same crap. At least this thread is cool. The ones there are not. Then I piss off, and get infractions.
Infractions grinds my gears too.

We have to wear magnetic shoes. It's not the prettiest solution, but it works nonetheless. On another note, you'll never see someone in Australia get hiccups, because we're permanently drinking upside down :p

I was going to say "Aliens", but that's much better.👍

PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA SHOULD BE BANNED!!!

Phew, that feels better. :D

There you go......let it all out.

Feel better now?

I tell thee what should be banned - Chicken nuggets. There isn't one bit of real chicken on the bloody things. I know, I eat them often.

I love pineapple on my pizzas thank you very much. Doesn't hurt I've been raised that way, but there's little I won't eat, and even less I won't try. Including some of southeast Asia's finest cuisine. Like Balut.

I must admit, I can't see any chicken either.

Actually I do feel better, thanks. :)

16. I shouldn't be taxed because i am still in full time education

I didn't think you paid tax if you are a full-time student? I certainly didn't when I was your age (which is 18 years ago now, granted), which was good job considering I was paid £3.02 an hour at the time.

👍 👍 👍

And Jai, mind if I join you? I would really like to take a test drive around Spa and see how well it'll immense me, like Nordschleife

What grinds my gears?

This

POST LEADERS- What Grinds My Gears? Thread

VANDENAL............300
Jai.......................201
shem....................194

Bold:
I didn't even know I achieved my 300th post in this thread. How come no one notified me of my significant achievement?

Italics:
When did this happen? Your complaining nearly at double the rate of me. And how'd you overtake shem?

And finally, underlined:
How could you let Jai complain more than you? :boggled:

This, and many more things grind my gears.

I got one hour of sleep the night prior, which means I'm running low on logical thinking. And to add to that, I forgot my International Business textbook, yet again :grumpy:. If it weren't for a good teacher I'd be screwed.
