Man that is a grinder.
A grinder for me is that my Uncle died today. He was great, always inspiring, very humble man. He had no children but treated his nephews, nieces etc. like they were his own. The world lost a great man today.
Sorry to hear that.
In that case I would brace youself....my Cort has a rather annoying scratch on it thanks to my A-whole of a cat.
What's worse is the rest of it is mint, and I mean MINT.![]()
My Girlfriend agreed to wait until we have a 2 bedroom place so I can have all my music gear in one room with a cat proof door. God I love my girlfriend. If anyone wants to have a happy and peaceful life, go out with a Japanese girl.
I know that sounds terrible. The fact that she's Japanese had nothing to do with me asking her out in the first place, as I met her in Canada and had a record for liking Canadians, but every other girl I've gone out with in the past has turned into a complete psycho ***** and too crazy to live with.
Sound advice from Shem. Eventually, you'll meet a good one.
That and it seems like nobody likes real music. By that I mean its made by real instruments.
+1.
Sadly, that's what a lot of people I know do too. They wouldn't know real hip hop if it slapped them in the face!
The same thing happened with rock music. Now you have crappy indie bands being labelled as rock bands. Give me some Thin Lizzy any day over that crap.
Being stopped and searched by police... because I was out after midnight👎
That's crazy. That's only happened to me once before. Two days after my sixteenth birthday, I was at the local skatepark at 11pm on a saturday. The place was still crowded. The police show up and send everyone else home and I had the place left to myself.
It annoys me how disgustingly, catastrophically inconsiderate some people are. In Alaska, it's pretty much a done deal that there will be wind storms every fall. People go to the supermarkets during these storms, perhaps to stock up for the possible power outages. Despite the fact that they well know the wind is blowing with near-hurricane force, they don't bother to put their cart back in the cart return. They just push it aside as they normally do, leaving it to blow freely around the lot and run into anything that happens to be there. If the store employees aren't already on it I usually end up cleaning up after these people so their neglegence doesn't completely ruin someone's paint. I know being out in high wind sucks, but seriously... how selfish and inconsiderate is it possible to be?
They should just do what they do here. Shopping trolleys are all attached together with a chain. Put in a pound and the trolley is released. You should suggest something like that to the store. Maybe people will be more considerate if they want to get their dollar back.
