I agree. It's really grinding my gears. You got me everyone I didn't make a good point. I know that. Can we just stop?
(can I just say one more thing?)
You didn't help yourself by carrying on arguing. (there, finished)
What GMG is that my Kindle decides to do a software update while I'm reading a book, without asking. It just switched off and said 'software update in process'. At least give me the choice of doing the update.

What's wrong with a book?

I guess it's like paying $100 for a book cover and then having to buy the books and then charge and update it occasionally.

You have to manually turn the pages. And you have to leave the house and buy it. And it's too heavy. And they take up too much space. ;)

Yeah but a book doesn't try to 'update' itself from a paperback to a hardback midway through reading it.

That's true I suppose. But it only took around a minute. :D

This. I grind my own gears. I go too far. I don't think before I speak (or in this case, post). I usually end up regretting 75% of all the things I say or do. Not only here. Life in general I make the wrong decisions all the time.

I'm sorry for being such a little immature troll everyone. I got caught up in the moment and just hate admitting that I say something wrong or don't make a good case for my ideas.

Wow, I need to grow up.

It grinds my gears that people are still quoting bubblebelly on the topic of US vet's driving Japanese cars.. I'm aware that I was the first person to bring up the issue, but when it started taking over the thread, I stopped.

Now everyone, let's get back to gear grinders.

What grinds my gears is my the fact that my flat has double glazing windows, but due to how crappy it was built, they don't make a difference. The hot air escapes from everything else. Something else that grinds my gears? My wandering attention.

I can't concentrate on my studies because I have too many distractions.

Kindle can hold many books in the SAME dimensions. To read different books, you need something to store all the books in.

What's grinding my gears? Someone getting all a bit on the "pure" side, even though I've known this person to be pretty dirty minded ALL the time and suddenly just gone all "oooh, can't say that"...

Kinda makes BS conversations pretty hard to continue.

This kid who I sit in front of in math class was arrested on the charge of rape. He's a very nice guy and there are a lot of rumors floating around, so I don't know much about the actual story, though I think the Pittsburgh Post Gazette has an article on it.

You just never know. Almost every time I've seen something like that on the news, and they interview the people who knew the person who got arrested, they almost always go on about how they had no idea. It's so weird how that happens some times.

PSN maintenance. I heard about it but I didn't check the date. I wanted to play some BF3, so I pop it in, go to MP, but it won't load. I try again. And again. I turn my PS3 off. I try again. By this time I realize it's my PS3. The only thing I can think of is going to clear the download cache in GT5. When I go into GT5 it says "Error: XXXXXXXXXXXX." I then realize it's the maintenance. :ouch:

Well, a really good teacher was falsely accused of sexual harassment at our school, he was found innocent after investigation, but retired because they embarrassed his reputation.

The girl was crying and he was sitting in a desk next to her, rubbing her back and giving her "emotional support", he missed a meeting, and some teacher went over and saw. I think.

People are so judgemental.

11 hour Power cuts Grind my Gears. I got up at 10 to 3 AM to go to the toilet and while I'm doing my business the lights all go out! :grumpy: Then I wake up hoping to rant about it and spend the next five hours waiting for it to come back. It has now, so I'm happy.

A girl in my school overdosed on some kind of drug. She was taken out on ambulance and the Principle told us to stay in 5th Period a little longer until he came back on the announcement system.

What Grinds My Gears? Those annoying preppie girls. Today, right before taking a simulation state test, we were all talking about movies. This one cheerleader girl starts talking and says, "Hey guys, have you like, heard of the like, movie Journey 2 The or something like that? It's called like, Journey To The whatever, but it's made to look like, Journey 2 The whatever, like, is that not, like cool?" Then everyone goes on and kisses her ass saying, "Herp derp, that is cool!" Worst part is, I wasn't joking about how many times she said "like".

Why does everyone follow these people blindly, like they're some kind of leader? It's because everyone at their home makes $250,000 a year, gives birth to a pretty baby, then pays some person to take care of them until they're eighteen. While this child grows up with an IQ the size of Sarah Palin, and ends up making everyone around them feel even more stupid when this person opens their mouth. Then we let them all walk all over us, insult us, and make more stupid babies at 16 because if we say anything, they call us racist, sexist, or anything with the suffix "ist".

Rant over.

Remember, you are smarter. Just interject some sort of witty comment or a correction on one of her inevitably wrong facts.

I want it to be summer. Really bad. It's cold, windy, and dark at 5:30. Summer is money from a job, no schoolwork, hanging out with friends at work and at home, and warm weather. Also, the Plastic Beach album by the Gorillaz feels so so fitting for summer.

@Crispy
Do you mean the size of Sarah Palin's IQ or the physical size of Sarah Palin?

The GTPlanet Minecraft server being so lonely, we have achieved so much and barely anyone plays anymore.

I agree, I hate the winter.

I agree, I hate the winter.

Thank you! This winter had a lot of nice days and no snow, but I still hate it. I don't snowboard or anything either, yet I still hate it. All the trees and foliage is brown and dead, I hate it so much!

It's mild yet still to cold to really do anything. I don't even really go out much and I can't stand it being chilly and cold and when everything's dead. It's kinda nice in November when it's all pretty colors but December, nope.

Then you'd hate New Zealand. We got snow last year. It was the first time in about 40 years or something. Every other year it's just dark; buckets of water from the sky; and the wind blows quite insanely.

Touché. What's grinding my gears is that I wanna watch Top Gear on the living room as my dad has it on but my brother never shuts up so I probably won't go two minutes without hearing "Oh that's cool" or "That's awesome". He's incapable of just siting down, doing something and shutting the 🤬 up. :banghead:

The fact I can't write anything decent. No stories or lyrics. And I need too because I don't have the friends I can talk to about stuff (because the are what I would like to be, a real man) so I need to write it down. But it's all junk.
