I have to miss my Baseball game on Saturday because my grandparents are coming over for a picnic :grumpy:

Calling your online lobby "free run" for testing and tuning cars, and then some dumb 🤬 keeps whining to start the race.

But as he was from France, and him being a good Frenchy, he surrendered in the discussion.

 So I'm not the only one who jokes about France surrendering. :p

Internet memes grind my gears. I have never once even cracked a smile or chuckled at any meme, except for "because race car" and even then it was only once or twice. Most of them are just stupid, especially those with the stupid faces like these and stupid text like "drinking le coffee" or what have you. Those really drive me up the wall. How does using extremely crude drawings and text make something any funnier?

I have to agree to some degree with your post. There's nothing that I hate more than:

- Rage comics with a huge amount of different faces (like 4 faces in a 4 panel comic).
- Rage comics that overuse the "le" article. It may have been funny the first time, but not the next 132134234539476 times.

My swimming club grinds my gears. I have to go there every Wednesday and Thursday, plus they've split up the class I'm in now, and it's made it much worse. It's almost clinically bad now :indiff:

That's a piss off. Your grandparents couldn't come over after the game? That is outrageous, in my family its kids priorities first.

Usually when I dont clutch all the way in, that really grinds my gears.

On a serious note, I grind my own gears because I want a new car (namely a 90's gen JDM Honda Type-R not entirely fussed which one) I want a mint example but I cant save money, I should be able to no problem but I just keep spending.

This Is Grinding My Gears. Better switch to Castrol Syntec.

In Ryou's Thread: Nagareru Sukiru - Chapter 1 - Annoyance - 28/8/11

Is mine the only fanfic not influenced by Manga/Anime?

And I answered with this...

VANDENAL
No, my GT2 one isn't.

Then this question popped up...

I'm liking the story but have one question. Why are all these fan fictions Japanese based? Am I the only person who's written a non-Japanese bit of GT fiction?

I swear that sometimes, people should just read more, or look to the 3rd post below. I'm 15 and even I can't believe that.

I rest my case.

The way the Gov. runs 🤬.
Today I had to wake up at 4, and drive to MEPS to sit through the same damn 30 minute briefing I'd been through 4 times, that only describes things a new person might need to know. Then finally be let out to go wait in a line, then be told to go to the room down the hall even though I could see the damn sign in the first place. Only to then be told to grab my folder, and wait in a seat for 30 minutes before the :censored:ing guy got there to tell us to go in another freezing cold room for 50 minutes. Then someone finally came in, took my height and weight, then told me to go get copies of my files, see the USCG liaison, and figure out what to do from there.

Then the liaison told me I was set for the physical, and just needed to call my recruiter.

So in the military, it takes approx. 2-1/2 hours to measure your height and weight.

What. The. 🤬.

Not only is the question actually different, but you can't always expect people to read every post in the thread. In particular, they'll only read the true subject of such a thread - the chapters.

Its okay, the issue was resolved. Over and done with. 👍

My complaint? I have no complaints for now to post here. That's my complaint.

Anyways, Hess's law cycles grind my gears. I haven't been able to figure out where each of the reactants go, and how to form the alternate route! FML :banghead:

Gosh he has stupid hair..

Anyway, what grinds my gears in when the cat craps in the house, and tries to cover it up by vomiting on top of it.

Alright, explain this to me? What causes people who shouldn't be riding motorcycles to gravitate to the lawnmower-powered-bicycle that is a Harley Davidson, huh? and why would someone on one, after cutting me off, decide to then slow down?

Because all their brain power is being held in reserve for more important thoughts, such as their name, house number, and when it's inappropiate to open your flies in public.

I don't get to ship for the Coast Guard until March or April.

I mean, I was expecting maybe a month or 2, but that's just annoying.

People who go really fast on the road and overtake everyone in the passing lane, and when the road goes back to one lane they slow right down and hold everyone up. I don't even drive and it angers me!

People who yield to merging traffic.

Yeah, uh, I'm pretty sure it's a general rule that the merging traffic has to yield, not the other way around. I don't know, it might just be some kind of rumor or something.

I'm aiming for a spot, so when people start adjusting their position to either let me get ahead of, or behind them, it can sometimes result in them unintentionally blocking me.

I speed up, they speed up to let me get behind them, I slow down, they slow down to let me get ahead. Solution? Put it to the floor.
I mean, if you make adjustments to accommodate traffic from a ramp before they even get to you, then good job, that makes everything easier, but once the drivers are next to you, unless they give you a clear signal, you should just maintain your speed and let them work it out, otherwise they have to aim for a moving target.

So, again, bad drivers.

Driving on a 29 mile bridge with the sun right in front of me (93 million miles in front that is) and having left my sunglasses at home. Two days in a row now!!!

What Grinds my Gears at the moment is having my first ever credit card, and maxing it out in 1 month!

I'm normally pretty good with money management but this is a nightmare :(

Ah well, lesson learnt.

It grinds my gears that I can't get a credit card, because my parents credit ratings are 🤬.

Watching almost the whole of Aliens only to find the last 15 minutes cut from the download. :grumpy:
