This isn't really a gear grinder as it's more amusing than annoying. It does however make me question the logic of those involved.
As you know/ can see I live in China. People here are fond of car decals in the style used by their Japanese cousins. The difference is the Japanese actually use them properly.
Here's what I mean; today I saw a '10 Chana MPV type thing with some cool Anime decals on the side. One side looked cool, on the other the decals we upside down. It's not as is it's an easy mistake to make.
The same car had decals of Sparco, HKS, Sumo and other tuning houses and brands although the car had clearly never seen the slightest bit of modification. The best part was the last decal on the door which was the Picasso logo from a Renault Scenic.
I see this often. Honda Fits with Rally Art stickers, Nissans with TRD sticker and a whole host of other misplaced decals. Like I said, not a real gear grinder but something that baffles me a lot.

Saw a Commodore with NISMO across the back window in huge letters last week, had Spec-R badges from a Pulsar....
You're in Sydney right? I'm sure there's bound to be a few down there along with all the 'Chevy' Commodores....
Holden Monaro, you yanks are lucky you got that gem(then ruined it..)
Spagetti69Controversial one but this retro fad is a load of bollocks.
Metal gear HD.
ICO.
Resi 4.
And all the other cash cows there planning.
End rant.
ell470I like that they re-release old games so I get a chance to play them
I missed ICO during the PS2 lifespan...
And to go further, General Motors grinds my gears, they took a Holden Monaro (Or is it a Commodore?) and rebadged it as a Pontiac GTO here. No offense, but the rebadged Monaro does nothing but tarnish the GTO's iconic status. End of rant number 219?
Whoa, I'm Canadian. There's a difference. That car was ruined as soon as the Pontiac badge was slapped on the grille, then they put the GTO badge on the trunk lid, and it barely sold at all.
@ eszee: My point was that the GTO badge doesn't deserve to be on a Monaro, and the Monaro shouldn't have been badged a GTO, you were right about that. However, the new Camaro has every right to be called a Camaro, as it looks like the muscle car the Camaro was back in its day.
Yes you're right eszee, my mistake. The Camaro was a pony car. In that respect the new Camaro seems to be styled more like the Chevelle in regards to it being so big and powerful. Imagine that, me owning up to a mistake! What grinds my gears? 3 straight nights with nightmares. The 1st 2-nights were dreams about people being eaten, and last night it was about being banned from GTPlanet. Both are equally scary.
