When people leave a race because I started pulling away after one shortcut... :grumpy:

I also have blocks. I have 7 and each is 50 minutes. On Mondays it's reduced a bit for an hour earlier dismissal (3:15 PM).

3:15? I get out at 2:10pm because school starts at 7:40am :p

Pfft... I win. I have 4 classes, 76 minutes long. 8:05-2:10. From September to the end of June.

Your school starts 15 minutes later than mine and gets out the same time, each class is 3 minutes shorter, my classes are 79 minutes long? And do you have a 5th period for lunch? So that's probably why it's 15 minutes instead of 12 minutes shorter than my school day :p

And I have to run the Mile in Gym tomorrow, we've practiced running for the past few weeks in gym and I can run 8:50s :grumpy:

With all the PA Days and Holiday breaks, you get around a month off in time. And I have 8 EASY classes this year. This semester I have 3 business classes, and a photoshop class.

When people continually try to defeat you in an argument with personal opinion when you're the one with hard facts.

On the class time issue... I start at 3.30 and finish at 9.00..... But only when I have first lesson. Otherwise, 5.00 until 9.00.... But only when I have assignments, otherwise its 5.00 until 6.35 (enough time to register and leave!).

3 subjects: 1 self regulated (Project), 1 REALLY easy (Programming, very basic level), and then 1 subject to actually think about (electronic principles).

On subject, gear grinder when you are having a hard time with something and the only response you get is "Ah man, luckily for me I don't suffer the same thing." :scared:

2 I've been on the suffering end of recently as well.
Told at work to mind how much I use my mobile at work, as they've had comments about how much I text and call at my desk. Fair point you'd assume, except I don't have any signal at work? Only reason my phone is not in pocket is because I use it for music (which is allowed, most people in the office do the same thing AND make texts etc).

Secondly, I try to get into college the other day when I'm asked to show my ID card to security. Explained I'm still a pending student and showed him paperwork, and he asked how long I'm going to be pending for.
Why is this so annoying? Because its the bloody college who are holding up the process! My work place have sent them the purchase order number they need 4 times now by various means, but still nothing. Getting no help on the college side at all, so to be told to "chase them up and sort it out" really got to me!

Spent all morning in a meeting with various services. One of the specialist nurses mentioned she had just seen one of her patients driving, despite the fact she's nearly blind oin both eyes. This then prompted about a 20 minute conversation about all the people that various staff have had to report to the DVLA because they've seen them driving when they weren't fit.

The worst has to be the guy who'd lost both hands due to a drug addiction, yet was still driving. Or maybe the guy with no left leg drvinig a manual with the help of a broom. And many, many people who were medically blind, but still drove.

one nurse mentioned she got loads of abuse from a guy she'd reported's familly for "taking his independence away" - again, he was almost completely blind but droive every day.

Madness.

It's terrible. I think I can remember a story on the news quite recently where a man nearly blind with diabetes ran over a child (I think). Disabled people should have as much help as possible right now to help them live a normal and comfortable life, but if they are putting other people in great danger by doing tasks they are not fully capable of then they just shouldn't do it.

Side note, this girl at school today asked me why me and this other kid were talking about cars. What's wrong with her? Pshhh...

It could be worse, whenever I talk about cars at school everyone, apart from friends, are just 'Oh my God! You're a nerd! Stop talking about cars!' :ouch:

Some people eh? Anyway, what's REALLY grinding my gears is people at my school who refuse to accept Wales have a good chance of beating Ireland in the Rugby World Cup. We nearly beat South Africa you idiots!:mad::mad: Yeah, and of course England will beat France, without a doubt.:mad:

That's kinda like when I tell people I like NASCAR or motocross. They say "Oh, that's dumb." "That's boring." "NASCAR isn’t a sport and it’s easy. The just go in circled and turn left." (Which really makes me mad because they don't have one circle track. Instead they have ovals, a triangle, some rectangles etc...). Or, "Wow, motocross. Sit down and twist your wrist. That's so hard." Well they should try motocross or NASCAR. NASCAR is no go cart and motocross is no bicycle.

What time do you guys get up in the morning?! I've got school from 8:40 till 3:15, get up at half-six and I'm still late once or twice! (Mind you, I have a shower in the morning, it takes 15min to walk to the train station and I sometimes go on GTP before leaving :p)

6:30! I start @ 7:24 :p
I walk to school though, its only a block away

Man, I start at 8:30, and end at 3:30! I live two miles away all uphill to, so I usually leave around 7:45. Gives me time to talk to friends before classes. I wake up at about 6:30, and finally fall asleep at about 11:00.

Yeah I get up at 6:30am aswell. I always end up not being able to sleep until 12:30 or 1:00 am. Big gear grinder.

You guys finish early. We start at 8.30, and finish at 3.45, but I've always got sport after, so I actually get out at 5. I leave the house at 7.30, so it's a long day.

You guys start too late. I start school at 7:00 AM, and leave at 1:15 PM. Seven 50-minute blocks of classes.

On a Wednesday I get up at 6:30am to start work at 9am. I leave work at 9pm and get home around 10pm.

1up to Shem.

:headband:

Decorating! I really hate decorating. Sticking stupid bits of paper to the walls when I could be playing GT5:mad:

People breaking bad news to you right before a surprise party that they have organised for your birthday......
