Along those lines, making plans for a night out months in advance so as to be prepared. Fancy dress? Yeah, theme?

Its next week, theme was settled yesterday. Blatently know now that no one will bother....

Went out a couple of years ago, Children's TV is the theme. I got hold of a Dipsy (Teletubbies) outfit weeks ahead of night. Found out on day no one else was bothering... But I rocked up as Dipsy anyway for a laugh :D I had gone to effort of acquiring the costume so wasn't going to NOT wear it!...

Not exactly. I just throw on a bin-bag, intending to use it as a cape.. Costing me nothing.

And the scale of the area I pest is enormous, I earn about 2 - 3 bags worth and a decent pay.

Yeah, the tradition of Hallows Eve is to dress scary to ward off the evil that would try to enter one's house.

I'm a zombie this year so that when I'm hungover everybody will think I'm in character.

What grinds my gears....? (This is not a stab at you Jai, you just brought it to mind)

English people using Americanisms. I have a lot of American pals and have no problems with them speaking in their way the same that I have my funny Cockney phrases. There's no way I can rant about them and I wouldn't.

But to hear an English / British person saying things like "Nice pant and sneakers" or "What a load of garbage!" grates on me. It's a silly thing to be bothered about but I'd probably be just as stumped if one of my US mates said...

"Woss the 'arry bruv? Me trouble'll do 'er nut if ar go 'ome wiv no lolli in the sky. I betta do n 'oudini."

Translation
What would the time be my old chum? My darling wife will be enraged if I leave this fine public house with no money in my pocket. I should make myself scarce.

What Grinds my Gears is the Weather!

2 weeks ago we had a record hot weekend in October, now it's chuffing freezing!

It's worse as i'm a window cleaner and always outside :grumpy:

It also Grinds my Gears as it's too cold in the morning to not wear Thermals, but by midday it's just slightly too warm to wear them. Argh!

Yeah it's a real pain in the bottom. This morning for my school commute I wore a scarf and gloves, while leaving school I had ditched those and my jumper and was still hot.

I've got some real brains for activities. It's really not an issue in China making kids touch brains, livers and intestines because it's like you or I touching some porridge. I can't imagine many western teachers getting away with having animal organs at a Halloween party.
 
Idiotic motorcyclist. Just now on the way back home from school, I saw a motorcycle going on the other way around dangerously on an oncoming traffic. Just yesterday evening, there was another motorcyclist got hit by a car for cutting across the same road though I have no idea of the condition of the rider but the bike was totaled. Now that bike is stranded at the side of the road, still the idiotic motorcyclist I mentioned didn't even care about that and continue to attempt a suicide of himself... What the hell?

He's just a guy on a bike if he doesn't obey traffic laws or use common sense, that's what separates some guy on a bike from a motorcyclist, a motorcyclist is a person who uses common sense and does obey traffic laws. Remember that.

The weather! We can't get a day without it deciding to rain. It was sunny this morning, and now it's just starting to rain!

I have no problem with cyclist, well since we rarely see a cyclist on the road. Just that I have encountered numerous issues with motorcyclist. Not just today, it's been so since what.. years and years ago. My father's car got hit by a motorcycle twice because of their ridiculous attitude. Hopefully they learn this despite a number of campaign going on by the government to reduce the chances of accident involving motorcyclist.

I see, well I have to say mate. Those out there who ride an expensive bike like BMW, Honda CBR, or any of those bikes they have a very good descipline on the road. But, those who are on things like those Honda EX-5, Yamaha RX-Z etc. are very rude on the road.

I'm not sure how is it right there but in Malaysia, they use these RX-Z, turned it into a completely naked bike and race it, much like street racing. We call it Rempit here :lol:

Many have died from accident and yet they learn nothing from this.

It starts with Disney and ends in hell. Five year old girls going 'awesome' and 'eww' and talking to their dolls with Hannah Montana accents. Only a good thrashing and a heavy dose of The Sound of Music can sort that out!

Uuuuh, now I went a little bit off topic :p

But it's cool mate, at least it's not as bad as my friend's. Her birthday was on the day where we have a Physics paper. Ouch.. I mean, real ouch!


EDIT: Now to my rant.

Now I couldn't stand mouth ulcers. I've had twice of them last month and now I'm having it all over again... It's difficult to eat and speak :(

I went to the doctors today, for the first time in over 10 years.

I have a terrible chest infection, can't sleep and don't have much of an appetite at all.

This kid of a doctor tells me I don't need antibiotics because " I will survive"

I could of told her that, I never said the S*** was going to kill me, I just want to sleep and stop coughing up unspeakable things :lol:!!!
 
I got my PS3 back from Sony today. Nearly all my gamesaves are missing because of the copy protection and Sony tells me they can't do anything about it. So I have to reinstall, update and start over nearly all my games and just because Sony maked a console that has a weak disc drive.
 
Whilst this should be classified as "the rule of double standards" (no need to state why this is so annoying!), this has got me annoyed in a different way...

Me and the gf are in a complicated scenario right now and for obvious reasons I won't go any further into them. Best thing you can do though is a) talk to one another, and b) talk to other people around you. We have spoken at length about it with one another, and she has spoken to her manager at work. On Monday I asked her permission to talk with my own manager as we get on really well but he is also very sensible on sensitive matters. She wasn't happy with me talking to him though "in case she had to come into the centre and see him, it would be awkward that he knew". Fair enough, I respected that. I also knew she wouldn't be happy about me talking to my parents about it either (they don't see eye to eye...).

So I'm dealing with my side on my own with only her to talk to. Last night though I found out she has spoken now with her Dad, her sister, 2 of her friends, another work mate and probably her mum as well. None of which I was asked about first, just went ahead and did it anyway.

So yeah, very awkward now and feeling quite on my own about a relationship? Weird feeling and not one I'd like too often!
 
The university Wi-fi network makes just getting here to GT Planet an odyssey. :grumpy: I'll probably be in class by the times this finishes loading though... :indiff:

Cops at 3 A.M. who have yet to meet their quotas, they will stop you any-****ing-thing. A cop with his $$$dar got me for going 72 on the Interstate. Even though I got off with a warning, it still pisses me off though.

When you decide to be nice and slow up to let someone out onto the road infront of you, and they proceede to thank you by going anywhere from 20-30mph in a 40.
 
There was a heavy rain earlier this evening and there were floods everywhere. But what else today that grinds my gears? Well, Malaysian drivers. I mean, it feels like I'm driving in India. Cars going everywhere, some even hit other's car, tons of selfish and stupid drivers... I've never encountered such for years in Malaysia and tonight was the first. Shocked I have to say, makes me scared to drive when it rains here.

That's the problem - quotas. It's giving cops an incentive to find BS crimes to "stop". Shouldn't they find a way to bring crime rates down instead of bulking them up with aforementioned BS crimes?
