What happened to all the cool GT4 Tracks?

I think that's crap. The textures and track code is what it is, and we aren't talking about about a completely different game.

Even with a completely different physics engine, there can't be that much difference between GT4 tracks and GT5 tracks...judging from the same crappy textures that got ported over on the tracks that did make it.
 
But it happed with many games that goes from PS2 to PS3! Most first PS3 Game were smaller than the last PS2. For example GTA3>GTA4 / Mettal Gear Solid 3 > MGS4. But I´m not a expert I Just think many people Imagine this things more easier than they are.
 
Well in the case of Dirt, it was because of the way the tracks were modeled (supposedly). Rather than modeling static tracks and incorporating the driving physics into the cars, they modeled the physics into the tracks. So when it cam time to fix the driving physics in Dirt 2 (no more insta-stop on dirt), the tracks had to be completely remade....or so I've heard.

For most games though, tracks are somewhat transferable...at least from what limited exposure to it I've had.
 
H'm I suspected similar on GT I heard the physics are tied to the track which to me sounds like a really bad way to make a game.

Where is El CAPTAIN and of course Midfield and Infineon. Mind boggling.

This would make sense... if they didn't importn some of the old tracks into GT5 already AND import all the old cars including ones that were on GTPSP.

Just because one game works that way doesn't mean they all do... especially when the one in question has already imported some tracks rendering that explanation impotent.

I woudn't be surprised if it were PAID DLC... and some will be happy for it as long as it doens't cost too much...

I should start a business stealing the pickles off peoples hamburgers and selling them to the customers... as long as it's not too much and the burger would be better with pickles I would be a lot of people would just go for it...
