What happened to tires rubbing ahainst wheel wells?

You know, when your tire would rub against the wheel well and make lots of smoke? It never happens now. Any reasons why?

It does for me. If the tire is rubbing the wheel well it is going to shred the bodywork and tires. That kind of stuff doesn't happen.

I see lots of smoke in the normal places. Places like the contact between tires and asphalt.
