Actually, it takes 2.54 cm to make an inch.

And yes, I know how to calculate them but it's bloody irritating to first check how many times you can fit 30.48 cm into your height, then calculate how much is left and then try to divide it by 2.54 cm and then deal with the occasional millimeters to end up with that ¾"... when we could just have a poll with approximate options like 180cm (5'11") - 185cm (6'01").
